Dr. Paul McDonald graduated with honors from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1981. He participated in a general practice residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado from 1981 to 1982. He started his first private practice in 1982 and was on faculty at Emory University School of Dentistry-part time as a clinical instructor in the Department of Prosthodontics.
He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, and the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He places an emphasis on comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. McDonald has been married to Becky McDonald for 40 years. Becky helps out at the front desk on Friday mornings. They have two children, Porter and Neal, as well as three grandchildren, Whit, Pierce, Georgie. Dr. McDonald is an active member of Northside United Methodist Church. He is an alumnusof Westminster High School and the University of Georgia. In his free time, Dr. McDonald enjoys golf, woodworking, photography, and traveling.

This place is the best it took so much to find the right dentist I'm so happy that I no longer have to worry about if I'm in the right hands or not, they did not try to do too much or overcharge me. I went to someone yesterday who told me I needed a lot more than I really need it. This place is trustworthy and amazing. Great vibes great energy.

Hi! I'm Dr. Patel's mom and I've been in the office helping out. I have to say that Dr. Patel and Dr. McDonald really care about their team and their patients. Grace, Rebecca, Latoya, Ariel, and Kyla make it their mission to give the patients the best experience they've ever had. It's been awesome to see. I have to say that this practice has the most awesome patients. If you care about your teeth and you want a warm, friendly dentist that cares about you, come see them. For the time being, I'll be happy to help you out while they look for more team members.

I was seen today for a cleaning with Grace who was awesome! Dr Patel was able to get me in right after for some treatment which was great because my schedule is very tight. Ariel up front was very informative with explaining my cost when it came to insurance and helped me get scheduled asap. All in all great office and energy!!! Highly recommend this office if your in the Buckhead area!

Pharr rd Dentistry is the absolute best! When you walk in, one is greeted by an extremely warm receptionist Ackylla. The hygienist Grace , Laytoya and Ariel are very knowledgeable and explain the procedures they will be performing thoroughly to the patient. The cleanings and maintenance they perform are second to none. Dr Patel is a dentist masquerading as a scientist. I was visiting two different dentist four times a year prior to going to Pharr rd Dentistry . Dr. Patel recommended Perio Protect for my daily maintenance and I couldn't be happier My wallet smiles at me every time I pay my portion because ALL of my dental care is now performed at one location.
