Dr. Cuong T. Phan, recipient of the prestigious Mastership Award, the highest Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) honor available and one of the most respected designations within the dental profession, has been practicing dentistry since 1999. Less than 1% of general dentists throughout the United States and Canada have achieved this Mastership Award (MAGD). Humbled to be distinguished by the AGD, Dr. Phan says it was his patients that inspired him to work toward this goal. Currently, Dr. Phan serves as a Florida Dental Examiner for The Commission on Dental Competency Assessments.
Dr. Phan earned his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Central Florida. He then graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Pittsburgh. Afterwards, Dr. Phan went on to complete his residency at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Phan performs a full range of dental procedures in-house, with special interest in natural-looking crowns and porcelain veneers, tooth colored filings, Invisalign, teeth whitening (Zoom!), root canals, gum treatment, oral surgery, dentures, and full mouth reconstruction with dental implants. Fifteen years ago, Dr. Cuong T. Phan took over a dentist office on Lake Underhill Road in Orlando. Ready to put his knowledge to use, he re-named it Phantastic Smiles, then began to serve existing patients and work with staff members from the previous practice.

Dr. Phan has been practicing for over 18 years and performed multiple procedures in one visit by using the latest, state-of-the-art dental equipment, such as the CEREC. This high-tech tool uses 3D photography and cutting-edge software to prepare, create and help place a permanent crown in just one visit. Porcelain veneers, Laser fillings, ZOOM whitening, implants, root canals, Laser gum therapy, oral surgery, dentures and complex full-mouth restorations are all done in-house by Dr. Phan. To attain mastership, AGD member dentists must successfully complete 1,100 approved continuing education credits 400 of those hours in participation courses where skills are learned through the manipulation of dental materials and pass a rigorous, comprehensive exam.

Wendy is Dr. Phans college sweetheart. They have been married for 22+ years and have four beautiful daughters. She graduated from The University of Central Florida with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She enjoys working in the Phan-Tastic Smiles office because of the wonderful staff and patients!
Debbie brings more than 20 years of experience working in the dental field. She brings a vitality, professionalism, and warmth to Phan-Tastic Smiles patients. As a patient advocate she integrates her love of people and passion for dentistry, making sure patients expectations are exceeded at every level.
What gives her the greatest satisfaction is helping patients realize its financially possible to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile by utilizing the many different financial options our practice offers.
Kathy has been working in the dental field for 25 years. She helps our patients understand how to maximize their dental benefits and makes sure they are well cared for. Kathy is happily married with three children an two grandchildren to keep her busy. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and wine tasting with her husband.
Victoria loves the relationships shes built with the patients over the last 20+ years shes been at this practice. She was born and raised in Ft. Myers, has been married for 28+ years and have two children, Jordan and Gabriela.
Dana has been a certified dental assistant since 1986. Dana is originally from Baltimore, MD, but moved to South Florida at the age of 10. She now resides in Winter Garden. In her spare time, she enjoys water sports, going to the beach and of course, shopping with her beautiful daughter!
Tayri graduated from dental assisting school in 2002 from Palm Beach State College. Since she was a child, Tayri knew she wanted to work in the dental field. She enjoys educating patients and assisting Dr. Phan in giving patients the smile of their dreams. Outside the office, Tayri stays very busy keeping up with her two beautiful boys and enjoys doing the many fun activities Orlando has to offer.
Mara fell in love with Dentistry in 2004 when she became a Dental Assistant in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Originally from Brazil, Mara also speaks Portuguese and Spanish and has a multi-cultural background that she proudly carries when assisting her patients. After living 13 years in Miami, Mara calls Orlando home along with her young daughter and husband and takes great pleasure in being able to assist her patients to regain their confidence by having the Phantastic smile that they have always dreamed of.
