Dr. Judith Pabst graduated from the University of Southern California in 1977 and has been practicing in the same location for the past 31 years. She is a board certified pediatric dentist and a member of the American Dental Association, American Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Pabst is very involved in the community and is a supporter and volunteers at both Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles and at USC. She is married with 2 grown children and lives in Tarzana. She enjoys reading, skiing, traveling and shopping.
Dr. Phaedra Deukmedjian, a native of Southern California, earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from UC Irvine before heading to San Francisco to study dentistry. Upon graduating with high honors from the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry, she headed to the University of Texas in Houston and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry. In addition to her certificate, she also received a Masters of Science in her specialty. Dr. Deukmedjian lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and two small children. When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys being with her family and volunteering her time amongst different non-profit organizations and schools.
Dr. Shukan Kanuga graduated from UCLA and completed her Pediatric Dental training with a MSD from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2009 and possesses 10 years of dental trainingand experience in India and the U.S. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She enjoys volunteering her time for the underserved children in the SF Valley and talking to preschool children about oral health.
Dr. Pabst and Dr. Deukmedjian have partnered to form the most caring pediatric dental practice in the San Fernando Valley. All of our dentists consider it their obligation to their patients to remain at the forefront of pediatric dentistry and have performed hundreds of hours of continuing dental education so as to provide your child with the highest level of care possible.

Judith Pabst is such a friendly, warm, welcoming dentist, as are her technicians/assistants. One of my children is extremely shy, where she would often cry when people even looked at her. They started slowly with her, but now she loves going to the dentist. They are very patient and kinda miracle workers. They had to pull two of my daughter's teeth today, there was some blood, yet they did a fantastic job of hiding the blood and my daughter didn't complain at all. I couldn't believe how well the whole thing went. Wish I would have been able to go to this dental office when I was a kid!!

Loud and obnoxious. Decided it was right to yank a somewhat loose tooth without any numbing solutions on a ten year old. Terrible, would not ever recommend to anyone I know. On top of that, she gossips about people--loudly.

Very bad service my son's medical ran out didn't owe them any money now they won't see my son his medical is working now been a customer for 3yrs very disappointed with these people.

My daughter has always been terrified of the dentist. She needed to have four baby teeth removed and threw a tantrum at her previous dental office .I brought her to see Dr. Deuk, who was so kind and gentle. The teeth got removed without a problem and my daughter was even smiling when she left the office. Thank you Dr. Deuk for your patience and expertise.

Dr. Deukmedjian and her staff made my daughters first dental visit a wonderful experience . Dr. Deukmedjian was very sweet , gentle and informative . The front office was very nice and accommodating with my requested appointment time and day . She's a keeper ! If your looking for a pediatric dentist look no more ! She's the one .

Both of my kids LOVE Dr. Deukmedjian! My daughter has had to have a few teeth pulled over the years, and Dr. Deuk has always made it easy and painless. They never complain about having to go to the dentist, and aside from being a great dentist, she is warm and friendly as is her whole staff. I highly recommend Dr. Deukmedjian! Great office!

My niece and nephew adore her and trust nobody else. Probably the best in town. Also works on celeb kids. Well worth the wait make appointments early.
