Dr. Tom Pezdek graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Dental. He went on to UNC School of Dentistry and graduated in 1982. He has been practicing in the greater Raleigh area for more than thirty years and has a new location in Apex NC, just outside of Raleigh, where he resides today.
Dr. Pezdek feels that his biggest contribution to dentistry is his development and teaching of oral sedation dentistry techniques. These techniques have helped many hundreds of thousands of high-fear patients around the world to receive needed dental care they otherwise would not have been able to receive.
Wow, what should I say? My number one interest, people. I am definitely a people person. I love meeting and getting to know patients. I recently moved to North Carolina from Indiana and I have been enjoying working in a small personal dental office like Dr. Pezdeks. I have been working in dentistry for the last thirty years. Outside of the office I enjoy the outdoors, sipping wine and spending time with loved ones.
I have been a dental assistant since 1998. I began working with Dr. Pezdek in 2003. I love my job and enjoy building relationships with patients. I promise to make your dental visit as comfortable as I can. I live in Holly Springs with my husband and two very active sons. We love sports (participating, watching, etc.)! In my 'free time' I enjoy woodworking and refinishing furniture.
I have enjoyed every minute of my fifteen years as a dental hygienist. I really love it. I have always wanted to work in the dental field to help and educate patients. I am originally from Pennsylvania but have called Hollysprings NC home for almost twenty years. My husband, son and daughter keep me very busy. I do enjoy doing a boot camp workouts along with Amanda and Jeanie after work and I spend my weekends with my family and friends. I am so glad to be a part of this dental team.

Laura, Dr.Pezdek's hygienist has my praise for soft hands, a warm smile and patience. She needed plenty of patience with me and educated me about oral hygiene.Jeanie,always greets me with a bright smile and good news when I leave.Dr. Pezdek and his staff gave me my smile back. I personally and highly recommend him and his staff for ALL your dental care.

One of the best experiences I had with a dentist so far. I had a surgical extraction done and Dr. Pezdek was amazing. He is very experienced, very patient, caring and pleasant. The front desk and his assistant were awesome. I totally recommend and I would give more stars if possible.

I have been going to Dr. Pezdek for over 30 years, have never had a bad experience, and their atmosphere is always welcoming and accommodating. When he moved to Apex I didn't hesitate to stay with him and make the 25 mile trip every 6 months.

Just wow!!!!! I am beyond thrilled with Dr. Pezdek and his entire staff!!! I had a childhood diving board accident that left my front tooth chipped. This tooth was never repaired to my liking; that is, until Dr. Pezdek!!! I was always self conscience of the fact that this tooth was darker than my natural teeth. I could never use whitening products because it always made the tooth stand out more. When I asked my previous dentist if he could make it lighter, I was told it was as good as it could be. Apparently he was incorrect as I now have beautifully matching teeth thanks to Dr. Pezdek! Dr. Pezdek repaired my entire smile (I also had chipping on my bottom teeth that I hadn't repaired because of the cost quoted from previous dentists) and I am so very grateful. I am a teacher and dental insurance is limited and cost is a concern for me. The staff was caring and very attentive. Scheduling was a breeze and, did I mention just how friendly this awesome staff is?!?!! Truly grateful!

Pezdek Dental has been the best dental experience I've had. Professional, yet comforting and welcoming. I initially went to Village Dental, where i was told i needed thousands in work. I got a second opinion at Pezdek and quickly realized i was being scammed. Dr. Pezdek showed me the things i needed fixed and the things i did not need to fix using X-rays and common terminology. I felt informed and cared for, not just another number like I did at village dental. He also went out of his way to do additional cleaning and reshaping of my teeth. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Pezdek is a low key, competent and kind dentist. My husband and I have teeth from non-flouride days. We're so glad to have a dentist we can count on when something pops up! His referrals, when necessary, are also excellent. The support staff are all a wonderful team of people, including the hygienists that provide excellent routine preventative care.
