Dr. Yonatan Pevzner was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. He and his family lived in Israel until he was 9 years old, at which point they moved to Long Island, NY. From a young age, Dr. Pevzner was curious about science, especially Biology. Upon graduating from high school, Dr. Pevzner decided to pursue a career in dentistry due to his fascination with medicine, desire to work with his hands, and commitment to help people.
Dr. Pevzner studied at the prestigious State University of New York at Buffalo. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Biology degree, Dr. Pevzner promptly began his dental studies at the dental school. Dr. Pevzner greatly enjoyed learning the dental sciences and was especially dedicated to mastering the hand skills necessary to provide exceptional dental treatment.
Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Pevzner immediately moved to Austin, TX. Having worked for several different offices over the following years, Dr. Pevzner honed his clinical skills and expertise.
Dr. Pevzner enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, including: crown and bridge, veneers, cosmetic bonding, simple and surgical extractions, root canal therapy, among others. Dr. Pevzner is dedicated to constant improvement and takes many continuing education courses every year. Dr. Pevzner emphasizes preventative care and is especially adept at minimally-invasive restorative dentistry.
Dr. Pevzner is fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew, and has professional proficiency in Spanish. In his free time, Dr. Pevzner enjoys playing competitive tennis, going on runs and hikes with his Boxer dog, Yuri, and swimming at Barton Springs.
