Dr. Pettinato graduated from Syracuse University in 1990 and completed his dental school training at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1994. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry(achieved Fellowship status in 2010 and Master status in 2017), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, PEAK Pennsylvania study club, and several local dental organizations. He has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry since 1994 and in his current solo practice since 2001.
Sherri has been a dental hygienist since 2006. She lives in Scranton, PA. She has 2 sons Andrew and Alex and a daughter Abby. Sherri is an extremely thorough clinician with a very gentle touch. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable and always wants to be helpful.
Patty has been a dental assistant since 1990. She lives in Olyphant, PA. She has one son James. Patty has a wonderful attitude and personality that helps patients feel comfortable and welcome during their visits.

I do not like dentist but Scott and his staff are excellent. He could not extract my tooth because he did not want me to be in any more pain and referred me to an oral surgeon and his staff made the appointment for me and he did not charge me because he could not extract my tooth I would give him and his staff 10 stars if it went that high. If you have a fear or don't like the dentist he's the one to go to. Thank you very much

I love Dr. Pettinato and his crew!! Everyone is nice and I get to watch my favorite show friends Can't wait for my lil man to make his first appointment!!

Not a big fan of the dentist, had managed to avoid going for almost an entire decade. Decided it was finally time to go back and chose Pettinato Dental, I could not be more pleased with my choice they were extremely nice and made the process of getting back into the groove of dental cleanings hassle free. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is not generally a fan of going to the dentist as they do a great job of making sure your comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. Will be bringing my entire family here!

I had a great experience at Pettinato Dental Care. The staff (Patty) was very helpful and caring. Dr. Pettinato did a thorough examination and found out that I didn't need a procedure my previous Dentist recommended. Very pleased and I would definitely recommend.

I had a root canal and I was afraid to get it because I thought it would be painful but Dr. Pettinato did an amazing job and it was literally painless. HIs staff (Patty and Sherri) are also awesome. Collectively they make the dental experience a positive one. I strongly recommend Dr. Pettinato and his staff to everyone, especially if you have a fear of the dentist.

So happy to find a dentist that actually cares about his patients I've been coming here for about a year all the staff here are so friendly and very helpful my smile is so nice since I've been coming here I referred alot of friends and family they all r happy in my opinion best dentist in the area I will continue all my dental care here nice clean place very welcoming
