Dr. Richard Petrilli is the sole practitioner in the office, offering his own professional style to each individual patient. Dr. Petrilli offers comprehensive dentistry geared toward adult patients. He was recently selected by his peers as one of Orlando's topDentists.
Dr. Petrilli grew up in Central Florida, and graduated from Lake Brantley High School. Attending Rollins College in Winter Park, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology. He earned a number of Honors in his major and was on the President's list. After graduating in 1988, he attended the University of Florida School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1992. Dr. Petrilli is also a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, known as the world leader in aesthetic dentistry. Following his training, Dr. Petrilli spent many years practicing in a high volume group practice in Orange City, Florida, gaining skills and expertise in crown and bridge procedures. Taking this experience with him, Dr. Petrilli went on to open his own practice where he could offer high quality dentistry with personalized service.
Dr. Petrilli opened his practice in 1995, and it has flourished ever since. He and his staff have built the practice on the theme of providing extraordinary care for extraordinary patients. Dr. Petrilli listens to his patient's needs, and all diagnoses are designed to offer only the best and most appropriate treatment for each patient.

Dr Petriilli was working on 2 patients at once bouncing back and forth. Very PAINFUL experience in replacing a crown. Guess he was rushed. Expensive and Crown still hurts while it did not hurt before, temperature sensitive. Not happy with experience, would avoid. Even the assistant seemed rushed and hurt me during my procedure. He needs additional help to give each patient the time and care they deserve

None of the employees besides one who initially brought me back were wearing masks- not even the DOCTOR when she came to examine my teeth. I had to ask her to put one on right as she was about to get into my mouth with her tools. Sorry, not going to go to a dentist practice where the staff are wanting to breathe willy-nilly into my open mouth. I've gone two years in this pandemic without catching Covid and it's not been by allowing irresponsible healthcare providers to breathe all over me in tiny, enclosed spaces. Not coming back here again and neither is my husband.

Dr Petrilli does a good job and when I had emergencies he was able to see me promptly. His staff is very courteous and attentive. The reason I am not giving him 5 stars is that every time you want to schedule a dental cleaning, you have to do it 4-6 months in advance. And if for some reason you need to reschedule, then you have to wait 4-6 months again. My husband and I had to go to other offices to get the cleanings and check ups done. The problem is scheduling cleanings. And this was happening even before COVID.

As with all my previous visits here, they were right on point timing wise as I arrived early and was seen early consequently. The young lady was professional yet remained friendly and interactive. Dr. Petrilli is always a pleasure, easy to talk to, very pointed with his advise and direction with your oral health. I like that he always has a plan and it's a team effort to get things accomplished with your oral health. The follow up scheduling is a bit precarious due to the popularity of the team here, but they work with you and try to get you the most timely and convenient appointments possible. All in all, thankfully somethings never change like the friendly, professional, and courteous environment that Rich and his team have been able to establish here. After not seeing them since 2012, it was like coming home.

I have been to Dr. Petrilli several times and have always been satisfied. He is very gentle...I hardly ever feel a thing, even when getting novacaine. The practice is run well and I never have to wait long.

I have been going to Dr. Petrilli's office for over 5 years and could not be happier. Bernie has been my Dental Hygienist from day one. She is the biggest reason I continue to come back. She is caring, thorough and passionate about what she does. She is invested in my dental health and actually takes the time to chat. The front office staff is the bomb and does not treat you like a number. They're knowledgeable and take the time to understand your needs and come up with solutions. Dr. Petrilli has taken the time and care to select and develop a staff that truly cares about the patient as a whole.

Abby is totally wonderful and helpful when it come to the insurance dealings. Nikki was my hygienist - she was sweet and caring, gentle touch. Dr. Petrilli is personable and thorough! I have me a new dentist!! P.S. The exam chair was very comfy!

Heads up for whoever is reading this. If you are younger than 25 do not call them. They do not see patients younger than 25, so they would see me but not my husband who is 24. Reasons? Who knows!

I had a great first visit today. Everyone was very nice and the doctor was very thorough with his exam. My major complaint is I feel that it is very inconvenient to have to come in for an evaluation appointment and then come back again for your cleaning. Seems like a waste of time for something I've always gotten done in one visit. The reason I went here is because of great reviews online.
