For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for choosing to receive Orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, getting braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.
When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience. Dr. Noel Sint and his team are dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to their proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment outcome is you -- the patient! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
We focus on providing care to all of our patients in a compassionate, professional, and fun environment. Our team is committed to providing each of our valued patients and their families with outstanding customized care. We are devoted to making every dental experience rewarding and enjoyable.
Nurturing a long-term relationship with my patients is a top priority. I believe that providing gentle and conservative care for my patients is one of the most important components tocreatea positive experience for both the childand their parent(s).One of my main goalsis to make the visit to our office comfortable and interactive, so that the children leave looking forward to their next visit because of what they learned and how much fun they had!

underserved families. This is where I discovered my passion to treat children exclusively and decided to pursueadvanced training to specialize inpediatric dentistry. I received my Master of Science degree in Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. Born and raised in Southern California, I stayed close to my family and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for college. Like many others, I was a young adult in college who felt some insecurities about my appearance. It didn't help that I was also a freshman in college with braces on. I didn't truly realize how much my crooked teeth could affect my social interactions with other people, until the day my orthodontist took my brackets & wires off. That's when my smile was finally straight and I started noticing a huge change from within. Almost instantly I was beaming with more self-confidence and joy. This change helped shape my personality into who I am today. My braces changed my life and were the driving force towards my decision to apply for dental school; I wanted to help people find a similar positive change in themselves. That's when I knew I wanted to become an Orthodontist.
a greater purpose and take part in a different way of life. I accepted a commission to become a Captain in the United States Air Force and served as a general dentist for three years. I viewed being an officer and a general dentist in the US Air Force as an opportunity to grow and improve both as an individual and as a clinician while contributing to a larger cause. I welcomed the unique opportunity of living overseas and was fortunate to be stationed near Cambridge in the United Kingdom for two years. After completing my service with the Air Force, I moved back across the pond to New York City to obtain my Orthodontic Specilization at Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine.
I was born and raised in Portland Oregon then moved to Seattle Washington for both undergraduate and dental school. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. Prior to dental school, I had the opportunity to visit Vietnam and participate in a volunteer program where I fell in love with pediatric dentistry. I witnessed volunteer dentists getting children out of their dental pain and providing oral health education to improve their life long oral health. After this experience, I knew I not only wanted to pursue an education in dentistry but public health as well, in order to understand the complexities that occur within our social systems that affect the health of communities. After dental school, I pursued a three-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago where I received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, Master of Public Health, and Master in Oral Sciences. I am a board eligiblepediatric dentist with experience in conscious sedation andhospital dentistry.
I strongly believe that it is important to understand many facets that families and communities face in order to help them achieve optimal oral health. It is important to work with families to help them understand the challenges they are facing in order to overcome them successfully.
I was born in Florida, raised in Indiana, and have since lived all over the country for my orthodontic education and training. I obtained my Bachelor's degree at Indiana University, completed dental school at LECOM School of Dental Medicine, and finally acquired my masters and orthodontic specialty training at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics. I am now proud to call Austin, TX my home.
I try to enjoy all that Austin has to offer and I love to be outdoors or out on the water as often as I can. I also love to travel to new and exciting places and to gain new perspectives wherever I go!
I truly believe orthodontics can be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and it is one of many reasons why I love what I do. I am able to relate to my patients and their families because I have had extensive dental and orthodontic treatment throughout my life. I can appreciate how much of a positive impact this has had on me during my youth, and as an adult.
I have been around medical professionals my entire life and it is my dream to be where I am today. Orthodontics has also allowed me to give back to the community, and I am proud that I have received recognition from dental and orthodontic organizations for fundraisers I have founded or contributed to while in dental school and orthodontic residency. I cannot wait to continue creating beautiful smiles both in and out of the practice.
