Dr. Peter Pang has been a practicing General Dentist for more than 30 years. His dental office, located in the Biltmore area of Asheville, provides General Dental Services, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontia, and Periodontal with a holistic approach.
Dr. Peter Pang DDS graduated from the School of Dentistry Loma Linda University in 1987. His passion for learning has never abated. In North Carolina, the requirement to maintain a dental license is only 15 hours. Dr. Pang typically takes 200+ hours per year.
A native of the San Francisco area, Dr. Pang moved to Asheville to participate in the great outdoor activities. His wife, Caroline, is from Ireland and they both enjoy the many similarities between Asheville, San Francisco, and Ireland especially the music.
We are very fortunate to have Graham as part of our team here at Asheville Holistic Dentist. She provides us and our clients with herbal remedies, tinctures, teas, salves, essential oils, recipes, at-home wellness kits and so much more.

The office is beautiful and right away you feel comfortable and at ease. The young lady that cleaned my teeth was wonderful and Dr. Pang is amazing. I will tell everyone this is the dentist to visit!!

My dental cleaning appointments with my dental hygienist:Jennifer Greene are always excellent. She is very informative, up to date, gentle, and passionate about the care of her patients! I consider her the best dental hygienist I have had in my life!

Walking into Dr. Pangs office was very soothing... I love how they have everything set up with all the holistic things from salt lamps, diffusers, etc. and the wonderful experience they provide you as a new patient! Lisa, the office manager was wonderful to work with and very thorough answering all my questions! Dr Pang was very informative with helping me with my mouth trouble from my amalgams that I've had in my mouth since middle school! I'm very excited to work with them getting these poisonous things out of my body and I'm expecting better health from this! Thank you for this wonderful first time experience!! Y'all are amazing!! My only regret in all of this is not finding you sooner!!!

Dr. Pang and staff attended to me on short notice in an emergency situation despite having a full schedule. A diagnosis was rendered quickly and explained clearly with sensitivity, and treatment immediately provided. Dr. Pang and his team are technically proficient, well-organized, compassionate, and patient with questions. I've been there a few times now, and I never feel like they are just putting in time. They care about their work and each patient. They're the best of the best in my book. Wish I'd found them ago. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Eh, underwhelmed, i was seeking a consultation on a tooth from a slightly more alternative or holistic perspective but pretty much got the standard western medical/dental opinion. And only got 5 minutes with the dentist for $128 - ouch.

Walking into Dr. Pang's office was like entering a massage therapist's waiting room (and I am a Massage/Bodywork therapist!). Soft music, salt lamps, ionic air purifiers, aromatherapy diffusers, and kind support staff at the front desk. I came in to establish myself as a new patient and to discuss the one tooth I had an issue with, only to find out that my entire mouth is a train wreck - which, incidentally, SHOULD have been caught way beforehand by my previous dentist. I am looking at extensive repair work going forward, but am confident Dr. Pang and his staff will be able to assist. He was kind and very thorough in his explanations of everything, as was Kristy, his assistant. It is, by far, the best experience I have ever had in a dental practice!

Jen has been my hygienist for a few years . She is the best Last year I decided to invest in Invisalign and I am very pleased with the results and even better is that my cleanings are also showing much benefit . Previously I suffered with more plague and gum pockets. Now that my teeth are better aligned, that has really improved!

Getting pretty busy- due to the Best in Asheville Rating perhaps. In the past I have changed dentist when current dentist seem to busy to serve me. Perhaps it will even out, we will wait and see.
