Dr Peter Michael graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and has been providing dental care to the community for over 30 years. Dr Michael is an active member of the American Dental Association and the D.C. Dental Society. In addition to his many years of experience, Dr Michael is always striving to improve himself by devoting time to continuing education to keep up with changes in dentistry. In his free time Dr Michael enjoys sports, gardening, travel, and spending time with his wife Mary Ann (our office manager) and their four children Stephanie, Aris, Christina, and Katherine.

If you're nervous about going to the dentist- you don't have to be nervous about going to see Dr. Michael. About a year ago I got serious about getting my (dental) health in order and went to Dr. Michael after years of being too nervous to make it to a dentist's chair. You know how that works- you're nervous to go and the longer it takes to get there the worse the situation becomes- it's compounding. Dr. Michael was friendly and welcoming. I had some gum issues which he quickly saw. I was mortified and disappointed in myself and he was just so kind and nonjudgmental. He referred me to an amazing periodontist- assuring me she (Dr. Wong at ZCYW) is the best to calm my nerves (which was absolutely true- my gums are in great shape now!), and he made sure to do all of the imaging there to avoid additional fees at the periodontist. I felt supported and well taken care of- and I definitely appreciated the compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Michael to anyone.

I yet have to meet a dentist who would give a patient their X-Ray without even asking and only because he believed it to be my property as I had already paid for the services he rendered. Dr. Michael is honest, kind and thorough. After the appointment I found out that the lady at the reception is his wife, who is equally nice and courteous. He will be my dentist for as long as possible.

No frills, no up-selling, just clean teeth. Dr. Does all the work himself. His lovely wife works the front desk.
