Dr. Peter Lemieux attended the University of Florida to obtain a major in Economics and a minor in Chemistry. He was recognized as an Anderson Scholar for academic achievement, graduated with honors, and was inducted into the Society Phi Beta Kappa. He attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and earned an honors diploma in 1997. As a student, he presented research at the national and international level while conducting work with the department of Biomaterials. He was recognized for his academic achievement with the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, the Quintessance Award for Research Achievement, the American Academy of Periodontology Award, and was elected to theOmicron Kappa Upsilondental honor society.
Dr. Lemieux maintains memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the Florida Dental Association (FDA), the Central Florida District Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando (DSGO), the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the American Equilibration Society, and is a club leader for a local Spear Study Club. He was elected to fellowship in theAmerican College of Dentists, and thePierre Fauchard Academyin 2008, and to theInternational College of Dentistsin 2011. He is a student of The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Spear Education, The Dawson Academy, and The Piper Education and Research Center.
He is an active leader at the local and state level within the dental association, serving on the board of directors for DSGO, as a delegate for the FDA, and as president of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando in2010-2011. He has served as Chairperson for the FDAs Sub Council on the New Dentist, as a consultant to the FDAs Council on Membership, and as a consultant to the Leadership Development Committee. He mentors pre-professional students at the University of Central Florida, acting as their local contact with the dental community. He is dedicated to serving the community by volunteering regularly for health fairs, the Orange County Research Clinic, Give Kids a Smile, Special Olympics Special Smiles, Christinas Smile, Donated Dental Services, and the FDAs Mission of Mercy. In the past, he has volunteered as an exhibit explainer at the Orlando Science Center, and he lectures to elementary students about oral hygiene. He is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club of Winter Park.

I have been going to Dr Lemieux's dentist office for the past 5 years and highly recommend them. Dr Lemieux and his staff are very friendly and professional. Overall I've had a positive experience.

My visit with Dr. Lemieux and his staff was the best experience I have had visiting a dentist. The office itself is clean and inviting. The office staff is kind and makes themselves available to assist in anything you need leading up to the appointment. Dr. Lemieux was more thorough than any other dentist I have visited. He took his time to explain everything. He also didn't try and up sell me dentist work that I don't need. I went to a different dentist a month prior and was told I needed to spend 5xs what I spent here at n procedures I didn't need. Dr Lemieux was honest and did a great job. I recommend this office to anyone struggling to find a dentist that they can trust.

Dr L took over for Dr Cummings....I am a long term patient....my go to hygienist Is there My visit out of the ordinary teeth cleaning was handled by a dental craftsman.... Figured out where my tooth pain came from...... divot of some sort now exposed per raised gum line...... old man no doubt.... Medicare.... Handled with precision and priced fairly.... Thanks we had fun and tooth issue was well managed..... I was ready for doom and gloom Great job!!!

Dr. Lemieux and everyone on his staff are extremely professional and competent as well as being unusually warm and friendly. If you look closely, you'll see they all have wings and gold lights around their heads, letting you know right away that they're angels!
