Dr. Fam was born in New Brunswick and raised in Monroe Township. Dr. Fam graduated from the University of Medicine and dentistry in 2006. He completed his dental implant fellowship training at NYU in 2014. Prior to that, he graduated from Rutgers college in 2001.
Since starting His career as a dentist in 2006, Dr. Fam has completed over 1000 hours of continuing education, receiving Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fam has also completed a two year advanced course in Dental Implantology at NYU. He has opted to continue this training and is currently undergoing a third year of advanced training in Surgical and Prosthetic dental implant treatments. Dr. Fam takes pride in making patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their treatment.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, performing oral surgery such as dental extractions, treating children as well as more mature adults. Patients with special needs, and patients with fear or anxiety. He resides in Monroe Township with his wife and 2 children. He used to enjoy cooking before the children came! His specialty is pizza from scratch.
MORE THAN 25 YEARS EXPERIENCEMaureen is a gentle and caring Dental assistant with over 25 years experience in the field. Aside from assisting Dr. Fam, she is licensed by the state of New Jersey as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Maureen has a relaxing, calm demeanor and she will make you feel relaxed here at the office. Apprehensive patients generally are much more relaxed after meeting Maureen. She lives in Jackson with her husband and 2 boys. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is also a great cook; ask her about crockpot recipes!
25+ YEARS EXPERIENCEKris has over 25 years of experience as Registered Dental Hygienist. Her goal is to make you feel relaxed during you cleaning or gum treatment and to work with you in maintaining a gorgeous smile. She will tailor treatment to your needs, and also motivate you to maintain your oral health. Kris has knowledge in alternative/ holistic methods of oral hygiene including dry brushing and oil pulling. State-of-the-art technology allows us to diagnose problems with new ultra-low radiation x-ray equipment the office has invested in, to protect you even more from excess radiation. She currently resides in Toms River with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, she likes watching baseball, being outdoors, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.

If you're looking for a dentist, make an appointment with Dr. Fam. Going to the dentist can be a good experience! If you're afraid of the dentist, make an appointment with Dr. Fam. You will be glad you did! I am. He's a wonderful dentist with a caring, competent staff and a state of the art office. There is none better!

My first visit to Dr. Fam was a great success! Teresa at the Scheduler/Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Jeanine the Hygienist was thorough and professional. Dr. Fam is warm and welcoming, With an excellent chair-side manner. Dentistry can be scary, but I felt extremely calm and positive and their hands. Thank you to all of you at Dr. Fam's office!

I have been a patient with Dr. Fam for multiple years. Dr. Fam and his hygienists have been nothing but kind and helpful at each appointment. However, one of the receptionists, Theresa, has convinced me to take my business elsewhere. I have never had a positive interaction with her, including one case in which she accused me of irresponsibility, despite the incident actually being her fault. For context, I am a teenager and would appreciate even the slightest bit of helpfulness from someone who serves as the first point of contact at a dentistry. I am very saddened to have to turn to another practice because I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Fam's services. Others my age have had similarly unsettling interactions with Theresa. I hope she receives the counseling she needs
