Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, as you may have seen during your visits to our office. As we resume care for you and our community, we will continue to follow all recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow them closely and are always up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
After over a decade of practice in Orange County, I am so pleased to be at my own practice in Laguna Hills. I was born in Pennsylvania, but moved to Southern California when I was three (practically a native). I grew up in the Inland Empire and went to Redlands High School. Immediately following high school I started my dental training at UC Berkeley where I earned a Bachelors degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. I was blessed to have attended the prestigious University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). I wrapped up at the University of Southern California (USC) and earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. While at USC I had the opportunity to treat a variety of complex cases including full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic cases, extensive dental implant cases, as well as treating special needs patients.
An Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Since he began practicing oral surgery in 2009, Dr. Sharobiem has restored hundreds of patients smiles. Hes so popular with his patients that they chose him for the Vitals Patients Choice Award in 2015, an honor for dentists with the highest patient ratings.
Dr. Sharobiem completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at UCLA in 2009, graduating in the top five percent of his class. From there, he earned a General Dental Practice Residency Certificate at St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was named Resident of the Year in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate at Mount Sinai Hospital, receiving advanced training in facial trauma, oral surgery, reconstruction, and more.
For Dr. Sharobiem, giving back to the community is extremely important. Thats why hes participated in dental mission trips to help impoverished people in Mexico, Haiti, and Guatemala. This level of generosity is why the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons honored Dr. Sharobiem with the Humanitarian Award for Residents in 2013.
When hes not helping patients, Dr. Sharobiem likes to stay active by traveling and playing sports. Hes an avid LA Dodgers fan, as well as a self-described foodie who loves to try new restaurants. He also enjoys reading, crosswords, and Ken-Ken puzzles.
Registered Dental Hygienist I have known Dr. Abas for over 10 years and I am excited to be able to work at his practice here in Laguna Hills. I earned my hygiene degree from Cerritos College in 2002 after finishing a BA at Cal State Long Beach. My husband and I enjoy taking our golden retriever to visit our parents every week so they can spend time with their grandchild. I love to read in every spare moment I can find and always carry a book with me. My husband and I love to try new restaurants when my husband isnt trying a new recipe himself. I look forward to meeting you and helping make those pearly whites sparkle!
Dental Assistant I have been in the dental field since January 2010. I am very excited to be a part of such a caring dental office. When I am away from our office I enjoy cooking, baking, spending time with my family, and taking my dog (Layla) on new adventures. Ive never been happier at an office in all of the 17 years Ive been in dentistry. I cant say enough about being a part of this awesome team. I love spending quality time with my husband, our four children, and 2 dogs. Family movie nights and date nights are just two of my favorite ways to spend my time. Dr. Abas is an excellent dentist. He's gentle, explains what he's doing, and he does really great work. His team is outstanding too. Tina is a fine dental hygienist. The office is state-of-the-art with a special 3-D printer for crowns which means no goopy gaggy impressions. It's been a positive dental experience for me, and I'm pleased to recommend.

I've been with this office for years now as has my family. His staff has always been professional and courteous. The thing I really like about their ability to make crowns in-house and in real-time. I moved to CA in 2020 and needed urgent dental care. Fortunately, a friend recommended Dr. Abas (who expedited my referral to an endodontist) and I've been a patient ever since. I feel at ease knowing their standard of care goes above and beyond. Dr. Abas and the staff at his office provide comprehensive dental analyses and take the time to explain dental health to their patients.
