Experience Dr. Woo and Dr. DeBerardinis are highly experienced. They have both been in practice for many years and have worked with many dentists and specialists on a vast and varied number of cases, from simple tooth movement to complex orthodontic/ orthognathic/ restorative cases. Through treatment planning for thousands of cases during their combined careers they have the knowledge to treat your case no matter how complex. Their experience has taught them that each patient is unique and therefore, each patient requires individualized treatment. It enables them to know how to best obtain a stable beautiful smile for each patient. Most importantly, their experience gives them the knowledge to know when to treat, what to treat and how to treat it!

Dr. Woo graduated with honors from one of the best dental schools in the nation, U.C.S.F. School of Dentistry. He earned his specialty degree in orthodontics from Saint Louis Medical Center with an additional Masters Degree. His excellence in academic and clinical skills gives him one of the best reputations in Sonoma County. He has gone abroad for a fellowship on TMJ disorders and has given many presentations on the different application of orthodontic treatment to dentists, hygienists, and assistants. Many dentists seek orthodontics for themselves or their family members from him because they desire the best outcome, trust his work, and enjoy his positive demeanor.
Dr. DeBerardinis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry in Pennsylvania, where he received his dental degree in 1996. As an attending faculty member, Dr. D. supervised the treatment of orthodontic patients by the residents and helped them along their path in becoming future orthodontists.

Dr. Marc DeBerardinis was born on the East Coast, and has been living and practicing in Northern California for over 16 years. He and his wife, Leah, a dentist and Sonoma county native, enjoy the area for all it has to offer. Dr. D and his wife have two young daughters, and feel fortunate to be raising them in such a magnificent place.

I consider myself very lucky to be practicing orthodontics in Sonoma county. As an orthodontist, I am able to treat such a wide range of patients. It is fascinating watching our younger patients grow up during the course of their treatment, and our adult patients always add excitement to each day. Our team always tries to take the extra step necessary to provide top-notch care, and I truly feel that we are all rewarded every day, when were creating beautiful smiles! Dr. D
Dr. Woo is a native Californian born and raised in Sunnyvale. He attended U.C. Santa Barbara where he graduated with honors with a degree in Biology. At U.C. San Francisco School of Dentistry he was president of the research group and sat on the admissions committee. He was given The Deans Award for his achievements in dental school, and upon graduation he received his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated with honors. In addition, through a fellowship between U.C.S.F. and the University of Vienna, Austria he studied the temporomandibular joint (jaw joint) and its disorders. He attended St. Louis Medical Center for his degree in Orthodontics and also received a Masters degree in Dental Science. He began practicing orthodontics in Petaluma in 1993.
As for his life outside orthodontics, Dr. Woo thoroughly enjoys exercise and sports. He enjoys tennis, basketball, golf, skiing and cycling. He also plays the drums and guitar when he has time. Although he enjoys his singing most other people dont. He, his wife and two children truly enjoy all Sonoma County has to offer.
First and foremost I feel truly fortunate to have a career that I love. Not only do I enjoy creating beautiful smiles and healthy bites, but I also thoroughly take pleasure in meeting and connecting with patients. It is a big part of what makes every day fun to go to work. I am passionate about Orthodontics because it is an artful application of science coupled with subtleties of patient care. It constantly keeps me challenged and creative. Dr. DeBerardinis, myself, and staff are dedicated to providing the finest quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly and caring environment. Being a patient of Dr. Woo was an absolute pleasure. I was wanting to straighten out my teeth a little later in life and him and the team helped ease all of my concerns. I decided to go with Invisalign and it was the best decision I could have made. Any questions I had were answered. Any concerns I had were discussed. I wish my treatment hadn't ended as I miss everyone from the office. If you're looking for an orthodontist that will listen to you and make you feel at ease the whole time - Dr . Woo is your person!

I had braces as a kid but my teeth shifted. I did Invisalign with Dr. D and was very happy with the results and experience. He was very thorough. I appreciated his great communication as he explained my options and treatment. Staff is helpful and it was always easy to schedule. I'd highly recommend!

I have never looked forward to going to the dentist like I have during my time at Petaluma Orthodontics. I'm an older adult and finally decided to get my teeth straightened. Dr Woo and the staff never made me feel 'too old' to be there. Dr Woo is professional, an expert in his field and cares about his patients. His staff are not only friendly but create an environment that is welcoming. It's clear that they enjoy working together. This office always goes above and beyond to provide excellence in orthodontics services. I highly recommend Petaluma Orthodontics.

I cannot compliment enough on how well run this office is. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. I had Invisalign for just over a year and it worked perfectly. Dr. D and his entire staff do a phenomenal job and communicate what the expectations are. Follow up appointments always very quick and easy. I highly recommend this orthodontist office.

I decided to get Invisalign done after I was a bad girl and never wore my retainers from having braces a long time ago. Everything was pretty smooth and easy here. Great staff. The real work is with you. You have to make sure you wear the invisalign exactly how they tell you. If you follow their directions you will get the smile you have wanted. I followed all their instructions and I am very happy with the outcome.
