Dr. Charles J. Chuck Harrell earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Harrell practiced for six years in the United States Air Force, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, and Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida. Since then, he has been serving the Petal community in private practice.
Dr. Harrell loves helping people smile. One reason he chose a career in dentistry is that he loves to work with his hands. He says, The joy of changing a persons life by creating a beautiful healthy smile is one the intangible rewards of being a dentist.
Dr. Harrell is married to Ramona, who serves as Petal Family Dentistrys Operations Manager. They have twin sons, Matthew and Nathan. They also have a daughter from Honduras who came to America as a college student. In his time away from the practice, Dr. Harrell enjoys scuba diving, fishing, hunting, traveling, aquariums, and going on mission trips.
Dr. Bobby Glenn Braswell, Jr. graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He matriculated at the University of Toronto, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by a residency at the University of Mississippi, for Advanced Education in General Dentistry. In addition to his private practice at Petal Family Dentistry, Dr. Braswell serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve.
Dr. Braswell and his wife Andrea have two daughters. When hes away from the office, Dr. Braswell enjoys camping, traveling, hunting, fishing, Southern Miss athletics, and spending time with his family.
Rebecca graduated from Jones County Junior College, earning an Associates Degree in Science. She earned her Registered Dental Hygienist degree at Pearl River Community College. She has been with Petal Family Dentistry since 1996. She has two children, Lauryn and Asher. In her free time, Rebecca likes to go to the beach and cook.
Linda has been with Petal Family Dentistry since 1998. She obtained her education from Jones County Community College and The University of Mississippi School of Allied Health. She is CPR certified. Linda is married to Jerry Simon and together they have four children, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and enjoying life.
Lori graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and has been with Petal Family Dentistry since 2000. In her free time, she enjoys camping with family and friends and trail riding on horseback. She has been married 25 years to Shane and has two college-aged boys. Loris advice to others is: Life is short, Keep Smiling!
Leah Smith joined Petal Family Dentistry in 2016. Leah earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Southern Mississippi with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Leah continued her education at Pearl River Community College where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is married to Tom, and they have two children.
Sarah is a Petal Graduate. She completed her studies in 2013 at Meridian Community College. There she became a Registered Dental Hygienist, graduating with High Honors. She is CPR certified. She and her husband, Adam, and have two children. Sarah Enjoys reading to her children, camping, gardening, and playing with their farm animals. Sarah is a member of Carterville Baptist Church.
Sarah graduated from Pearl River Community College with an Associates of Applied Science Degree. She received her DANB Certification in 2014. She has been with Petal Family Dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant since 2017. She is currently engaged to her fianc, Carlton. Sarahs marriage will bless her with two children, Harper and Colston. In her free time she loves being outdoors, traveling, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
Emilee attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She received an Associates Degree in General Studies and is CPR certified. In her free time, Emilee enjoys spending time with Nova, her cat, and arts and crafts with wood, canvas and vinyl.

Bethany has been with Petal Family Dentistry since 2019. She studied Business Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is married to Kendall and has two children, Sarah Grace and Kayden. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play ball, hunting, traveling and playing with her dog, Ellie Mae.
