Dr. Mike was born and raised in Marlton, New Jersey. As one of five children he enjoyed staying active in his community. He attended High School at Saint Joseph's Preparatory in Philadelphia. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Biological Sciences. A combination of a keen interest in the health sciences, compassionate desire to help others, and natural artistic skills to create form and function made a career in the practice of dentistry an easy choice. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he excelled both academically and clinically, and received special recognition on behalf of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for Excellence in Implant Dentistry. During dental school he also completed a brief externship in Dublin, Ireland on behalf of the International College of Dentists. In 2020 Dr. Mike went on to become a clinical faculty member at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine within the department of restorative dentistry. Dr. Mike is an active individual and father to two children. He has diverse interests including playing hockey, fishing, camping, writing, and staying involved in the community. Professionally, he is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association. His aim is nothing short of excellence. Each patient is treated with his gentle and compassionate skills and abilities. Ultimately, his goal is to make you feel involved and comfortable with your dental needs and choices and will work diligently to help you retain your teeth and manage your oral health needs over your lifetime.
Dr. Diorio was born in 1955 and spent his first 6 years living in South Philadelphia. Thereafter, most of his formative and early adult years were lived in the Mayfair section of the city. He attended Saint Timothy's grade school, Father Judge High school, and then in 1978, graduated with honors from Temple University with a degree in the study of biology. A combination of a keen interest in the health sciences, compassionate desire to help others, and natural artistic skills to create form and function made a career in the practice of dentistry an easy choice. After graduating from Temple school of dentistry in 1982 with numerous honors, both academically and clinically, he decided to return to his roots and practice as a Northeast Philadelphia Dentist. This is when he established Personal Care Dentistry. Personally, Dr. Diorio is a God-centered, family-oriented individual. Married since 1982 and with 5 children, he spends most of his non-working time with family activity, hobbies including sports and home improvement projects, and community involvement. Professionally, his aim is nothing short of excellence. Each patient is treated with his gentle and compassionate skills and abilities. Less than this is not an option! This is why he calls his practice Personal Care Dentistry with the aim of making smiles and keeping them healthy! Our goal is to keep the teeth you have healthy, replace teeth that are missing, and retain your optimum oral health.

I was in excruciating pain I called Dr. Diorio and he fit me in the same morning. He was able to extract the pesky wisdom tooth! He was very encouraging throughout the procedure him and his staff made me feel very comfortable. It was my very first visit but will not be my last. Thank you Dr. Diorio your services are greatly appreciated.

Went to the office for a cracked tooth. Had an absolutely stellar experience; very knowledgeable, I felt no pain and they were very attentive to my comfort level. Highly recommended; there's nothing that they could have done that could have made my visit any better.

They definitely mean "personal care" in their name. I was anxious but Dr. Mike and Sue put me at ease. I felt no pain. And Dr. Mike even remembered some conversation from a previous visit. These folks are great. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mike is amazing! He listens to your concerns and gives thorough explanation. He's really nice and make me feel comfortable. I haven't see a dentist for years because I couldn't find a good one, but Dr. Mike changes my mind completely. The staffs are very nice as well, I would definitely recommend this office.

We have been going to Dr. Michael for a few years and is the BEST dentist I have ever been to. The office is run by family, and makes you feel like family. They are true masters of their craft and their skill is second to none! I recommend him to anyone. If you are like me and often read the Google Reviews before going to a some place new, do not go to anyone else! He is the Michaelangelo of dentistry!

We have been going to Dr.Diorio for the past four or more years and is the greatest dentist we have ever been to. The office is very clean and it is run by family. Dr. Diorio is very gentle, caring and takes his time for those who don't particularly like the dentist. We would definitely with out a doubt recommend him to anyone and supporting staff are all very nice and helpful all the time.....

First, let me say that I am a long time patient. I started many years ago with Dr. Anthony Diorio who is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and a master at his craft. I did drift away from routine visits for several years for no other reason than being busy with life, work and other responsibilities. Then I broke a tooth. So I called to make an appointment. I met Dr. Mike. I am not a big fan of being in the chair of a dentist, but when you have to you have to. Dr. Mike is also Excellent! He is honest, explains the situation very well and discusses options that apply. I appreciate the time he takes with me to make me comfortable and understand what will work and what won't work and why. He is very meticulous about his technique to ensure the most positive outcome possible. Dr. Mike also is dedicated to make the experience as pain free as possible. I really appreciate that. As a result of my broken tooth and subsequent other dental issues I have to return to the office for numerous visits. Each visit gets a little easier for me and my overall dental health is improving! Thank you Dr. Mike! I learned my lesson the hard way, and plan to continue with regular visits to keep my dental health as good as it can be. Also, I would like to say that supporting staff are all very nice and helpful. In particular Gina is very easy to work with. She is very helpful with insurance, scheduling and whatever you need.

Dr. Michael is super through, knowledgeable and always pleasant. I NEVER dread going to the dentist! Dr. Michael truly has your best interest at heart and that is such a relief considering what I have seen elsewhere. I originally went there to have my front teeth fixed. I am beyond satisfied with the veneer work Dr. Michael did. I feel so much more confident in myself. Thanks to the great team!

Wow. I love this dentist. I recently moved into the area and found Dr. Mike. He is amazing. Extremely thorough and comprehensive. Very nice and doesn't make you feel bad about your teeth. He is currently helping me get my mouth back to health. He truly makes me feel comfortable and I feel so encouraged to keeping my mouth healthy. EXCELLENT DENTIST. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. MIKE.

This office is absolutely AMAZING! They do a great job at listening to your concerns and fully explaining everything. Not only are they knowledgeable about their work but they have a great understanding of insurance as well. They have made this process so easy for me and I love seeing everyone at the office! Gina and Heidi have been especially fantastic at making sure I am taken care of well and feel comfortable. Dr. Michael should be very proud of his team and is truly a great doctor.

My parents, brother and I have been seeing Dr. Anthony Diorio twice a year for a few decades - literally. You won't find a better dentist. He doesn't just tap on your teeth a couple times. He actually examines your teeth and your whole mouth for that matter. The receptionists and assistants are very friendly, too, and I'm so glad that his son Michael has now joined the practice.

Went in for a quick check up/cleaning with Dr.Diorio. Office went out of their way to ensure my insurance covered a tooth rebuild and the process was easy and painless
