Dr. Rubelita James is a graduate of the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Dentistry. As a student in the first class of the 6-year dental program at that time, she was the youngest to graduate from the program in 1989. As the senior partner of Personal Care Dental Group, she has been practicing for more than 30 years. Dr. James has been a certified Invisalign provider since 2007 and is passionate about improving smiles and promoting dental health. She loves informing patients of all their options that are currently available in dentistry. Dr. James hobbies include cooking, playing tennis and pickleball, and watching high school sports.
Dr. Pamela Richardson graduated from Drake University, Des Moines, IA with a BA in Biology. She then graduated from UMKC Dental School in 1992, where she received the Pediatric Dentistry Award. She was selected for a general practice residency program at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. After completion of her residency program, she proudly served 3 more years as a Navy Dentist at 29 Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.
Dr. Richardson joined Personal Care Dental Group in 1996, where she enjoys seeing patients of all ages, even as young as 6 months old. She feels strongly that all children should be seen by age 1 to prevent future dental health problems. She enjoys helping patients improve their smile and chewing ability with dental implants and was a member of the Kansas City Dental Implant Society for several years. In 2007, Dr. Richardson became a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Richardson is a member of the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, the Missouri Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and received their prestigious Fellowship Award in 1999.
Dr. Christopher Barreca lectures publicly to children and parents in various school districts to educate and inform them about the importance of oral health. Dr. Barreca graduated from Rockhurst University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Having been in practice for over 17 years, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. Dr. Barreca became a certified Invisalign provider in 2007. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and six children.
Dr. Paula Rodriguez is devoted to providing her patients with the best comprehensive and advanced dental care available in a comfortable environment. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry for all ages and loves to learn new technology and advances in dentistry.
Dr. Rodriguez, since very young, has had a passion for dentistry. She was raised in Liberty, Missouri since age 6, after moving with her family from Peru. She graduated from Liberty High School and earned her Bachelor of Chemistry, Psychology and Spanish from the University of Missouri Kansas City.
She then continued her education and attended UMKC School of Dentistry. While in dental school she was involved in multiple organizations. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and Greater Kansas City Dental Society. She has obtained advanced training with continuing education courses that include Implant Seminars and Invisalign.
Dr. Rodriguez likes watching football and baseball games and is a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog. She also enjoys running and has ran several races. She is passionate about helping others and volunteers her time at several outreach programs.

Dr. Rodriguez and her team are great! I truly enjoyed my experience as this was the first dentist I've been to in Kansas City and I felt welcomed and cared for the whole time.

I miss going here I did stop going because of them trying to rip me off last time. Not respecting prior prices. Always did a great job when getting my teeth cleaned. I hope that if I book again my price can be respected.

I've been going here for about five years now, and have received excellent care. My fillings from my childhood are beginning to fail, and I've had a lot of challenges getting these teeth cared for, but Dr. Richardson and the dental assistants have been wonderful, being very supportive and providing terrific care. I highly recommend them!

Our family has used Personal Care Dental for two years. They are always very prepared for our appointments. Their manner is friendly and professional. As a bonus, all three dentists are Invisalign certified. Our cleanings have been thorough and we always leave feeling that we have learning something new about caring for our teeth. One drawback: my husband prefers ultrasonic cleaning, so he now goes to a different dentist.

This is the only dental office I've ever gone to my entire life. My sister started out working for them when she first started her career in the dental industry and I've trusted the dentists and the entire staff since day 1. If you want great dental care, this is the place to go!

No one likes going to the dentist - BUT, this is the best dentist I have ever been to!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they are very thorough! I used to have good, strong, healthy teeth until some health problems popped up. After that my teeth became weak, causing multiple problems. After my treatments at Personal Care, I now have my bright smile back!! Thank you to everyone at Personal Care Dental Group!!!!!

I've been going to Personal Care Dental Group for over 15 years. I recently moved 35 mins away from their office and still drive to go there. Their staff is top notch! You never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. My daughter threw up one time and the whole entire staffed got her water and cleaned it up like it was no big deal, meanwhile I felt absolutely awful about the whole ordeal. All the dentists that I have seen have been absolutely wonderful, very personable and professional.

These guys are great. Knowledgeable and kind. The only reason I didn't rate a 5 (I would have done a 4.5 if possible) is because it can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment after work as they do not stay open very late. I don't really blame them but it is not easy to get time off where I work.
