In August of 2017, we added our 3rd dental office in Peterborough, NH. Currently, our Peterborough dental practice is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am 5pm and Fridays from 8am 3pm, but its hours will be extended as we continue to grow our staff and patient capacity. Dr. Perry understands how important a great smile is to your future success in every point of your life and he can guide you through what can be done to give you that fantastic smile.
Dr. Perry is committed to exceptional patient care, and trains yearly on the latest advances in dentistry. He is a graduate of many Dawson Academy programs and was taught how to treat difficult bite problems by Dr. Peter Dawson, himself. He has been trained in cosmetic procedures by some of the leading experts in the world.
I was born in California but soon moved to Connecticut where I was raised. I attended the University of Connecticut, where I acquired a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Cell Biology. I then moved on to pursuing my dream of becoming a dentist and attended Boston Universitys Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, guinea pigs and corn snake, arts and crafts, tending to my indoor jungle, snowboarding and kayaking. My favorite craft is sewing! I enjoy designing and sewing dresses, costumes and accessories. Ive made everything from pillow cases, to sports gear, to my wedding and wedding reception dress!
I have been a member of the Perry Family Dental team since 2018. I feel extremely lucky and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community of caring people. Dr. Peavy (formerly known as Dr. Johnson) strives to help you attain your dental health goals in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. She believes strongly in building relationships with her patients and customizing solutions to provide optimal function and esthetics. Dr. Peavy wants you to be prepared for success by giving you confidence in your smile and helping you preserve your teeth for a lifetime.
Dr. Peavy is a native of Dallas, Texas. Before dental school, she attended Texas Womans University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She completed her dental training at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Dentistry, where she met her husband, Sidney. Dr. Peavy is excited to now call New Hampshire home and enjoys the beauty of nature in all four seasons through hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and kayaking.
Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. Skrmetta attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She then received her Master of Science in Biology from Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN, and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine with an emphasis on Public Health from the University of New England in Portland, ME. Dr. Skrmetta has been an active member of the Special Care Dentistry Association since 2017 and has a passion for working with patients with complex medical histories and special dental care needs. She has volunteered for the past four years at the Maine Special Olympics and hopes to stay actively involved in her new community. Dr. Skrmetta loves working with the whole family. She enjoys getting to know her patients personally and being able to help provide them with the highest quality of care. Dr. Skrmetta appreciates how much of a family everyone is at Perry Family Dental, and she aims to treat each of her patients as she would her own family.
While not at the dental office, Dr. Skrmetta loves to get outside and stay active. After work, you may find Dr. Skrmetta boxing or learning Muay Thai at a local boxing gym, learning dances at a local studio, or outside hiking, walking, jogging, or biking. Dr. Skrmetta also loves to spend time with her family and friends, travel, go camping, cook, and experiment in the kitchen, and snuggle with her two sweet cats at home.
Dr. McKeefrey graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. Dr. McKeefrey then went on to receive his doctorate from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine and is a board-certified general dentist. During his time at UNE, he also earned a Certificate of Public Health
Dr. McKeefreys goal is to improve the comfort of dental care with his gentle, caring, and patient-centered approach. He focuses on education, encouragement, prevention, and working as a team member with his patients to achieve their best oral health possible.

The service by doctors and staff is awesome. However todays visit kinda twisted me the wrong way. My plan had been established for care. However a root canal needed to be throw in between the bridge work taking place in steps. All planned out nicely. It turned out the root canal used the remaining insurance coverage and my payment went from $2??.00 something two day to $15??.00 something. Ouch If I had be told my plan was mostly consumed before my visit today I would have cancelled the cavity work today and just finish my bridge work. Which didn't happen as planned due to time allowed for work done. Which ran long.

The staff at Perry dental is very friendly and welcoming. They Go above and beyond every time I have been there. I met Tara today and she made me feel very comfortable and answered all the questions I asked. I had an urgent appointment because of a broken tooth. They were able to give me a timely appointment to assess my needs. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Both the dental assistant and Dr. Grabbe explained what needed to be done and a treatment plan was immediately set up to my convenience.

From reception to hygienist to Dentist the staff at Perry has been wonderful! Not many people like going to the dentist, but I'll have to say that this has been my best experience I've ever had and I'm 58! You owe it to yourself to give them a try!

I have been coming to Perry Family dental for over 7+ years now. The legendary customer service they provide is exactly what there name states "Family." From the warm smile and 100 percent your full attention from when you walk through the door, to the dental hygienist and dentists who always show heart felt care when it comes to each person. They take the time and go over any questions you have. The brand new facility doesn't compare to the class, respect and family feeling you get from everyone when you walk through their front door. If your looking for dentist and if your new to the area, Perry Family Dental should be on the top of your list. One quick example on why Perry Family is the best. I came in for an appointment that I booked 6 months prior. It was the last appointment of the day. My hygienist at the time left the practice and went to another area. Rachel the hygienist decided to stay without hesitation past her normal shift just to make sure my appointment was fulfilled. Took the time out of her schedule to make sure I was taken care of. She didn't have to do it, but this is why you get legendary customer service when you arrive.

I had a terrible and honestly bizarre experience here yesterday. I let the office know when scheduling my cleaning that I am pregnant and wouldn't be having x-rays. When I arrived the hygienist let me know that they had made a plan to 'double bib' me and take fewer x-rays than they initially planned, and I once again stated I wouldn't be having x-rays and just needed the exam and cleaning. She said there had been a scheduling mistake and she needed to check to see if I could still be seen in a timely manner (fine). The dentist then came in and tried to pressure me into having the imaging and minimized my concerns, for the third time I declined. Eventually I just stood up and left because rather than finding a solution she continued to condescend and pressure me. I find it hard to believe I'm the first pregnant person to decline radiation exposure but it definitely felt that way. Don't go here.

Since the Perry Family Dental care opened, I have undergone extensive tooth repair work, due to the aging process of wear and tear. Throughout I have felt in the best of hands with every single encounter with every employee, especially with Dr. Perry who provided my personal care. I highly recommend their practice!
