Dr. Ivy Pruitt Ahluwalia grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. She went on to earn her D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she was awarded the American Association of Endodontists Student Award, the Tufts Johansen Research Scholarship and the Deans Research Honors Scholarship. She earned her post-doctoral Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics at Tufts University. Dr. Ivy is one of the select few Board Certified endodontists in Western Massachusetts and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Ivy has a broad background in biomedical laboratory research in the fields of immunology and orofacial stem cells and her work has appeared in numerous publications. Dr Ivy has two young sons. She enjoys swimming and tennis but her free time is usually spent chasing after her two energetic boys.

From the time you walk in to the time you leave you are met with very friendly, smiley, professional people! Very calming and beautiful office. Dr. BARBERA was professional, skilled, friendly and explained every step of the way. So kind and put my fears at ease. Her assistant Cory was sweet, friendly and professional. Her instructions at the end of procedure were very helpful. Dr. BARBERA and Cory are a true asset to your team. Checkout was easy and all the staff very friendly and courteous. Had a few root canals in my past and was anxious about doing it again, but WOW what a different experience I had here. No pain whatsoever and everything was explained to me in detail. I won't hesitate to go back if I ever need another root canal. Pain-free!!!!!

Perry Endodontics was fabulous! For someone who is not the biggest fan of going to the dentist, their staff made my visits extremely comfortable, calming, and communicative. Dr. Ivy is so sweet and genuinely cares about her patients and informing them on the procedure steps and her plan of care. She was wonderful answering the many questions I had and explained everything to me so thoroughly! I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone and will absolutely go back if needed for further treatments. Root canal procedure done here last year for my cousin who was dreading the procedure. She was relieved and so impressed to find it was not painful, and that Dr. Shin Perry is skilled, thoughtful, explains everything thoroughly in laymen's terms, listens and answers questions with much patience, and maintains an office atmosphere of serene efficiency. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Remarkable.

More than once, Dr. Perry has found time to squeeze either me or my wife in for major dental work. I actually fell asleep during a root canal. That's How gentle she is. A wonderful practice led by one of the most caring professionals I've ever dealt with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Elizabeth Shin Perry.

Perry Endodontics is the standard by which all others should be measured. You are immediately immersed into a spa like setting that is calming and professional. Dr. Perry and her entire staff operate as one cohesive team of professionals. Each procedure is explained and your welfare is first and foremost. Perry Endodontics has certainly redefined the classic dental experience. I highly recommend this office.

I visited Dr. Perry three different times; two times as her patient and the third I was Dr. Ivy's patient. Some folks are looking for grades well, if there is a grade more that excellent or more than %100 that you will find at their office. I got much more that what I expected, every issue was explained to the microminiature level, and I was treated as I was the only patient they have. Their other team members are nothing less than perfection; asking many question about my problem, providing help, and of course the perfect analysis they provide. A big thank you for everyone.

Dr Ivy was amazing! My daughter was terrified going for a root canal. She had a temporary filling in as we had WME attempt it, but the guy there...it was bad to say the very least, we had to stop and find somewhere else to complete it. So happy we were referred to Perry Endodontics!! I can't stress enough how comfortable they made my daughter feel and how great Dr Ivy was with her!

Came to practice with acute pain. Met by very congenial staff. Dental assistant very knowledgeable. She and Dr Perry highly professional and competent while being very caring of me as s patient. Extremely positive visit and pain has gone away . Highly recommend Dr Perry and her practice.

My root canal went very well, with no pain whatsoever during the procedure and the treatment eliminated the painful sensitivity to hot/cold and pressure that I previously had with that tooth due to cracked tooth syndrome.

I would recommend Dr.Perry to anyone seeking a referral . I had my mind set on an extraction but something told me to at least speak with Dr. Perry. It was wisest thing I could have done. Not only was my tooth saved, decades of fear due to an extremely bad experience dissolved. I cannot thank Dr.Perry and her team enough for their kind and gentle patience.
