Nominated as the 2014 Texas Dentist of the year by his peers, Dr. Christopher Perry is an internationally respected clinician and educator. Dr. Perry was born and raised in New Jersey, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College.
Dr. Perry received his DMD degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey after receiving a Masters Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University. Dr. Perry completed a two year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) where he received advanced cosmetic, surgical, and implant training. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the residency program at the UTHSCSA Dental School.
Dr. Perry has lectured internationally on myriad topics from CEREC dentistry to proper occlusion and headache management. He is a former President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry and received the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013, attesting to his commitment to professional development and life-long learning. He was also nominated for induction in the International College of Dentists. A frequent contributor to journals such as Inside Dentistry, Dr. Perry is considered a leader in the profession.
Hi! Im Alex and Im a small town girl from Orange, Texas. I moved to San Antonio a few years ago with my fianc Casey and lovely golden retriever Charlie. We have since added a new fur baby to our little family, his name is Attila and he is a Siberian husky. Casey is a recent graduate of the UT health science center with a masters in infection and immunology. I received my dental hygiene degree from Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont, Texas. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. I loved going to our family dentist because the staff was always so enjoyable, reassuring and knowledgeable. This is why my goal as your dental hygienist is to make sure you leave Dr. Perrys office with more knowledge about your oral hygiene and reassurance that your cleanings can be enjoyable!
Hi! Im Melanie and I began my journey at Perry Dental Health as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2015. I received my Dental Hygiene Degree in the fall of 2019. I absolutely love being part of the team! I enjoy exercising, photography, and spending quality time with my family. I look forward to taking great care of you all for years to come.
I have been working in the dental field for over 28 years. I started out with Dr. Alton Walker and remained with Dr. Perry after he joined and purchased the practice in the early 2000s. I also work with Vandelay Education as a dental assistant educator and administrator. Ive been married to my best friend Pedro for 27 years and have 3 wonderful children, Pete, Gabriela and Alejandro. I enjoy and love my career. When Im not working I enjoy doing crafts and spending time with my family.
I joined Dr. Perrys office in May of 2018. I have been a Dental Office Manager for over 30 years and have known Dr. Perry since 1999. Im very excited to be a part of such an amazing team and work with such a great doctor. I love dentistry because you get to meet fantastic people, establish life-long relationships and see so many healthy, happy smiles. Dental health is crucial to the overall health of the body and helping people achieve the healthy smile they deserve is very rewarding, especially in this warm, friendly, pain-free, family environment. I have been married to my wonderful husband Tim since 1997. We have 2 incredible daughters and 3 precious grandchildren. My favorite things are spending time with my family, baking and reading. I believe that nice matters and kindness is free. I strive to be both to everyone!
