She serves on the MAHEC Dental Advisory Board and is a member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and Buncombe County Dental Society. Prior to discovering her passion for dentistry, Dr. Ashley studied music and psychology at the University of Georgia and worked as a pianist for several years.
Dr. Ware grew up in Anderson, SC. He graduated with a B.A. in religion from Davidson College and completed his pre-dental curriculum at UNC Asheville. In 2008, he graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and moved back to the mountains of Western North Carolina. He currently lives in Black Mountain with his wife Kelly, their vivacious daughter Evelyn, and his two old labs. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ware enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. He loves to travel and has had the privilege of doing dental volunteer work in Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, and India.
Dr. Rory OKane grew up in Fuquay-Varina, NC and is a graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a year-long residency program in general dentistry at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Dr. OKane is an active member of the Buncombe County Dental Society and also volunteers his time at ABCCM, a local medical ministry. He married his wife, Emily in 2018, and they now reside in Hendersonville, NC. In his spare time, Dr. OKane enjoys hiking, traveling, Bible study, and cheering on the Tar Heels.
