Dr. Melissa Perrino is a lifetime Long Islander and longtime fan of teeth and dentistry. She grew up in Bellmore and recently moved to Dix Hills. In 2012, Dr. Melissa joined her father, Dr. Aldo Perrino, in his Merrick general dental practice. She enjoys working with her father because they are always learning from each other. Now a dental duo, Drs. Aldo and Melissa attend many dental meetings and continuing education classes together to further enrich their skills and keep up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Melissa truly finds general dentistry enjoyable and rewarding because she is able to get to know patients over the years and to help them with their long term oral health goals.
For her undergraduate and graduate education, Dr. Melissa took a brief detour through upstate New York. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York in 2006. She then attended the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Melissa completed her General Practice Residency in 2011 at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health/Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. After spending those years upstate, she also learned a few things about driving in snowy conditions!
Dr. Aldo Perrino began practicing dentistry in 1981, after graduating from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Prior to dental school, he attended Chaminade High School, then graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Albany in 1977. Dr. Perrino gained experience working in both Queens and Suffolk County before opening his own private practice in Merrick in 1995. Since then, he has created a truly unique dental practice where patients are welcomed like family.
Dr. Perrino continues to educate himself on new advances in dentistry and dental technology. He is excited to offer services such as Invisalign, Lumineers and Botox injections. Dr. Perrino is respected by his colleagues, and well-regarded in the community at large. He is also a golf enthusiast, and enjoys traveling, dining and listening to electric guitar

A few years ago I was unhappy with my dentist and someone recommended Perrino Dentistry. I have been going since and even have recommended them to others. They provide a professional atmosphere and a friendly staff. Are always accommodating and attentive to the patient's needs. Furthermore, they are extremely knowledgeable and experienced which I find comforting and reassuring. Would definitely consider if searching for a dentist.

I've been going to Dr Aldo Perrino for over 10 years. He is very gentle & explains everything before he starts to work on your teeth. The office is very clean & the staff is very nice. I would reccommmevd anyone to This dental practice.

I have been going to Perrino Dentistry for years and the staff are so pleasant and caring. I have never called the office and had any issues with appointments or emergency visits. Dr Perrino's experience and patience makes going to the dentist not so painful

I am a long time patient and highly recommend going to the Perrino practice. Dr. Perrino has always been honest and the work done is impeccable with no pain in the procedures.
