Dr. Hatten graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelors degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry before continuing his dental studies at the University of Texas Health Sciences Campus in San Antonio. Ever since junior high school, he knew he wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Hatten is a member of the: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, International Congress on Oral Implantology.

Alexis graduated from Permian High School in 2013 and received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Howard College in 2017.
