Our Hillsboro dentist, Dr. Van attended the University of Oregon for his undergraduate degree and was one of two students from his class at Northwestern University Dental School to be selected by the faculty to graduate six months early. Since graduation, he has undergone extensive continuing education, with additional training in such topics as moderate IV sedation, wisdom teeth extraction, and dental implants. He is focusing his current educational plan on achieving Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and is also an active member of the Northwest Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Study Club and the Periodontal Study Club at OHSU. Additionally, Dr. Van constantly evaluates emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort.
Kyle and Hai-Lien Van have four beautiful children, and when hes away from the office, Dr. Van enjoys spending time with his family and attending his kids extracurricular activities, such as piano recitals and dance competitions. He also treasures his koi fish pond in the office, which symbolizes prosperity and luck. It brings him joy seeing the smiling faces when patients see the pond.

Hai-Lien has been the Perledent Dental Care practice manager since 2008. She has four beautiful children and loves to exercise and play with the kids. She also enjoys jogging, cooking, and spending time with the family.
Regina has been working with Perledent Dental Care since 2005, giving her the opportunity to build strong connections with the patients here. She continuously strives to streamline the process of scheduling and treatment planning and guides patients through their dental treatment. She has obtained her dental assisting certifications and has additional training in dental implants. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
With over three years with Perledent Dental Care and 12 years in the dental field, Tanya enjoys greeting our patients and building close, lasting relationships with them, and their families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family.
Son, who attended the Oregon Institute of Technology, is happily married to his college sweetheart and has two children. He loves what he does at Perledent advocating for new hygiene products and patient education on maintaining good periodontal health. Besides his passion for dental hygiene, Son is a frequent flyer, so if you ever need any travel tips, you can ask him!
Robin has been a hygienist in private practice for six years. Growing up she had many personal dental challenges. She understands things happen in life and sometimes you need a dental restart. She delivers compassionate care to all her patients and believes in educating patients in the method of home care best suited to their needs. At home, Robin is an avid gardener and wine enthusiast with three cats, and she enjoys the great outdoors. Prior to being a hygienist, she was a sculptor and international instructor for over 15 years.
Melissa received her Expanded Function Dental Assistant degree from Cambridge Tech of Beaverton and has been with Perledent since 2014. She lives with her boyfriend and three cats: Tinker, Jett, and Cinder. She is a huge Blazers fan, and in her free time, she enjoys camping and going to the beach.
Patricia recently started working at Perledent Dental Care and has been in the dental field for about a year. Shes excited to be a part of the team and is looking forward to expanding her education in the dental field. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and playing with her kids and pets, but what she enjoys most is being with her family.

Presently 57 year old big baby when it comes time to go to the dentist. I had an emergency and they got me in the same day and was able to make a follow up appointment the very next day to complete what needed to be done. Not being from this area and having no previous recommendations I blindly picked here to make an appointment. Very happy I did. I feel very fortunate and blessed. I was made to feel very comfortable and my issues along with solutions was easily understood. And the cost was very affordable.

I have been going to this dental office for the past year and they never disappoint! My hygienist is the absolute best, offering suggestions and humor in equal portions. In one of my first visits, Dr Van cleaned up a root canal through a crown after another dentist had failed to follow all of the nerve branches. I highly recommend this practice!
