Dr. Lie-Ying Periu was born and raised in Melbourne, FL. After graduating from EGHS, she attended the University of Florida to receive her Bachelor of Science degree. This is where she found her passion for dentistry and received her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine at UF College of Dentistry.
Prior to establishing Periu Family Dentistry, Dr. Periu completed numerous hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry. Dr. Periu maintains a philosophy of providing quality dentistry in a conservative manner. On a daily basis, she promotes healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort, and improves the appearance of smiles. She has applied her unique blend of artistic and technical skills to produce durable and aesthetic results in thousands of patients. Dr. Periu strives to become proficient in the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, and is dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses.
Dr. Periu is a standing member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and Brevard County Dental Society. When Dr. Periu is not practicing her passion of dentistry, she spends most of her time with her family.
Maureen is originally from Massachusetts but moved to Florida with her husband in February 2021. Her expertise in the dental field spans over 30 years. Maureen loves the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Damaury loves the field of dentistry. Her energetic and outgoing personality will put a smile on your face. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is seeing the impact she makes in her patient's lives. Damaury loves to spend time with family and travel around the world.
Amanda brings so much joy and laughter to our patients. Patients love her kind and gentle demeanor, which is perfect for a dental assistant. Amanda loves spending time with her family, arts and crafts, and cooking.

Nothing but problems with this Dentistry..First they don't return my phone calls for months then send me two large bills from 3 years ago, once I said I wouldn't be going back. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place!!!

I have been to so many dentists in my life and none even come close to the professionalism and care that I receive here. Dr Periu is very gentle, compassionate and skillful. I find her staff to be very pleasant and efficient. I very much appreciate the improvements I have experienced in my dental wellbeing since becoming a patient at Periu Family Dentistry. Excellent medical care, fantastic dentist and staff. Very happy I switched to this new dentist. She performed a through exam and explained what she found and what needed to be done. Hygienist and receptionist were also excellent. My last dentist was horrible and this one is great!

Excellent medical care, fantastic dentist and staff. Very happy I switched to this new dentist. She performed a through exam and explained what she found and what needed to be done. Hygienist and receptionist were also excellent. My last dentist was horrible and this one is great!

I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time, the staff explained everything along the way about what they were doing, what things they were saying meant, and just generally put me at ease. Super friendly, I am glad I ended up here for my first dental visit in so many years.

Dr. Periu and her wonderful staff are the most caring and professional dental practice in Brevard county. Dr. Periu will explain the processes she is doing and why they are necessary. Your visit will take longer as she is very thorough and it will be done right. We have been patients of hers for over 10 years and never leave her practice. The staff is wonderful and engaging.

Everyone there, from the receptionist to the nurse to the actual dentist herself were SO nice and SO helpful. They all took the time to explain every detail to me, ask me if they could get me anything to make my visit more comfortable, and to answer any and every question I had with great detail. The visit ended with a nice warm, lemon towel for my face! It was such a pleasant experience!
