Dr. Burak is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Massachusetts Periodontal Society, the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Massachusetts Dental Society, the North Shore Dental Society, the Cape Ann Dental Society and the Beverly Dental Society.
Dr. Kolesar earned a certificate in Periodontology and a Masters in Oral Biology from Harvard University. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and brings personalized care to his patients by providing comprehensive treatment over a full range of periodontal therapies.
An implant is a surgical grade titanium fixture that is placed into the jaw to replace one or more missing teeth. It acts like a tooth root and is placed to receive a crown fabricated by your dentist. We use implant systems that have proven dental therapeutic history and are recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA). We will coordinate your therapy with your restorative dentist to insure a seamless treatment plan between our offices.
Implant therapy is time consuming and the healing cannot be rushed, but under certain circumstances the process can go more quickly. The doctor will discuss these events when appropriate. We work very closely with your restorative dentist to insure the best possible outcome. There are factors that can contribute to failure and these should be discussed with your surgeon. It is important that you have a good understanding of all surgical procedures, restorative therapy and cost before you engage in implant treatment.
Dental insurance varies as to coverage for implants, but patients are responsible for the total fee. Our office requires payment prior to the first phase of the treatment. If you have any questions or require addition information please ask any of our highly trained staff or your Doctor.

Dr. Kolesar is excellent. He highly skilled, professional and kind. I believe he genuinely cares about patient outcomes. Additionally, the office administrators and hygienists are awesome. Everyone is friendly and helpful. No one wants to see a periodontist - but if you need care, go here.

I have used Perionorth for my periodontal treatments and procedures since about 1980. They are so good, I continue to use them although I now live in Worcester. Dr. Kolesar is excellent. Everyone in the office is willing to assist. I heartily recommend Perionorth.

If you require a Periodontist, this is where you need to go. Why? With a long history of 'dental paralysis', I went to Dr. Burak and was immediately put at ease. His ability to sense one's hesitation, listen and clearly care was obvious. I required extractions and a bone graft. Sounds brutal, right? No, it was not, I felt zero pain and was relaxed. Yes, relaxed. I have ongoing treatment and am genuinely grateful for Dr. Burak. Do yourself a favor, if you require a Periodontist see Dr. Burak. P.S. the office staff is friendly and worked with my schedule to accommodate appointments. Thank you Dr. Burak

I had root scaling/cleaning and a 15yr old implant removed by Dr. Burak. I think the service was great, and Dr. Burak was knowledgable and skilled. Both procedures were successful, easy and at the Beverly office.
