It is a privilege to serve you at our periodontal and dental implant office and to provide you with the best possible therapy and latest technology consistent with the highest values of ethics, professionalism and honesty to help you achieve optimal dental health throughout your lifetime. Our practice specializes in the areas of Periodontology (both Non-surgical and surgical treatment), Dental Implants, Microsurgery, Oral Medicine and Adult Preventative Dentistry. Most of our patients are referred to us by dentists, physicians and other specialists, while some patients contact us directly. Because patient comfort and safety is so important to us, Dr. Hassan is licensed to provide Nitrous oxide, oral and IV sedation and mandates State of the art infection control procedures in our office.
Dr. Hassan received his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with honors from the University of Cairo University, Egypt in 1991. He went on to attend postgraduate Prosthodontics residency at the same school 1991- 1994. After which he travelled to Southern California and has since been practicing dentistry. He then completed his periodontal residency in 2004, earning a Master of Science and Certificate of Periodontology from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hassan received extensive training in anesthesiology at Loma Linda University, in which he provides his patients with sedation options to ease anxiety and stress with dental procedures. In addition to his time in private practice, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Periodontics at Loma Linda University School o f Dentistry. Dr. Hassan is Board Certified in the specialty and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Board certification represents the highest recognition of achievement in the field of Periodontics and indicates expertise in all aspects of Periodontics, including dental implants. The American Board of Periodontology is recognized by the American Dental Association as the national certifying board for the dental specialty of Periodontics.
Jennifer has been working in the Dental field for over 30 years. She enjoys interacting with patients and helping them obtain the best care possible. I love having the opportunity to introduce patients to the best Periodontist. Dr.Hassan is truly in a league of his own! As the Office Manager at our Riverside Office, I strive to help our patients with any insurance verifications needed and I am here to help with any other questions you have, whether it's about the procedure or your insurance provider questions.
Jajaira brings over 25 years in the dental field and has dedicated 8years with Dr. Hassans practice. Her extensive knowledge with insurance and treatment coordination in the field of periodontics will allow her to assist you with your entire treatment experience in our office.

I really appreciated the care and attention I got. Dr Hassan took his time answering questions and explaining the procedure to me, and during the procedure made sure I was comfortable and doing ok. He even called later in the day to check how I was doing.

Smiley is the best place for the best dental care I have experienced with everyone being so friendly, caring and dedicated to your experience being exceptional. I completely trust them with any dental procedures I need to have done even tho I don't want to go thru whatever my issue is, they make me feel right at home and very comfortable and calmed down. :-)

I have been a patient of Dr. Hassan's for 6 years. His staff is top notch, always pleasant to work with, and willing to take the time to answer any and all questions. Of course, Dr. Hassan is very knowledgeable and takes great care of my dental needs.

Dr. Hassan has been amazing at working with my gum issues. He is very thorough and listens to all of my concerns. With his and my hygienist Rene's expert care, my gums have improved greatly. I am beyond grateful. The office atmosphere and entire reception staff are very professional and helpful. I am very grateful and so glad my dentist recommended him to me.

I normally do not take the time to leave a review ... that being said my standards are pretty high! I feel cared about and looked after by the staff. My dental hygienist is knowledgeable in directing me how to keep my teeth, and manage my existing gum disease. The office is clean and maintained well! I have recommended them to coworker before ..

I really appreciate the calm, friendly, professional atmosphere of Dr Mohamed Hassan's Periodontist clinic in Riverside. I have been going there for many years and got 7 dental implants , which make my smile look really great. Dr Hassan is friendly, confident and direct. The entire experience is first rate. I got my teeth cleaned today. It was a deep cleaning. I was a little nervous to start, but the whole process was smooth. Today , less than 24 hours after, my mouth is not even sore. I am very pleased and am now eager for the next part in two weeks. The dental hygienist, Wendy, was excellent in every way. Her manner was both warm and professional. I appeciate her thoroughness and I experienced being well cared for. The office staff are friendly, and super efficient, especially Liz. The decor is sleek modern, beautifully designed.

I have been a patient since 2000 Cherisse cleans my teeth, and she is absolutely the best. I am a difficult case, a tarter builder, gum disease, and I doubt that anyone else would have been able to help save my teeth. I recently started with extractions and implants, long overdue. Dr Hassan is incredible. A great experience, first time extractions,(4 teeth), and 2 implants. I was very impressed with his skill and that of his team. They were informative and caring. Little to no pain, a remarkable experience.

This was routine follow up to a 4 year old implant. Dr. Hassan recommended improved cleaning with conscious focus at the implant/gumline to address some extra plaque in that area. Everyone was very professional and they had me in and out quickly. I am very happy with the implant done by Dr. Hassan.
