Dr. Trang N. Salzberg, a native of Vietnam, came to the United States after the war at the age of nine and grew up in Springfield, Virginia. Following her Periodontics training in 2005, Dr. Salzberg practiced at Konikoff Salzberg Periodontics in Virginia Beach for 14 years.
After nearly 30 years of studying and practicing in various parts of Virginia, Dr. Salzberg is bringing her experience in Periodontology back to Northern Virginia, where her love for learning all began.
She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Virginia Society of Periodontists, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, and Academy of Southern Periodontology.
Kim is a dedicated hygienist for over 25 years. She has extensive background which encompasses periodontics, cosmetics and holistic dental modalities. She looks forward to helping patients maintain their dental health with a gentle, yet thorough, touch along with educating and encouraging.
Helen is an undergraduate student at the GMU honors college. Her goal is to apply to dental school upon graduation. She is a part of the missionary youth group at her church. Serving others and spending time with her family and friends is what she enjoys the most.
Isabella is an undergraduate student at George Mason University, where she is part of the honors college program and majoring in biology. Her goal is to apply to medical school upon graduation. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and volunteering for the Arc of NOVA which helps individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
Carol is an honors student and her goal is to become a dentist. Her passion is to leave a smile on everyones face. She values spending time with her family and friends, playing music, and learning something new everyday.
Zach is an undergraduate student majoring in Biology at George Mason University. His goal is to apply to dental school upon graduation. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends as well as volunteering at health clinics.
Nahima enjoys working with and serving others. She is currently at George Washington University obtaining her doctoral degree in Psychology. Over the years, she has worked in customer service across various positions. When she is not working, she enjoys going to gym, walking dogs, and exploring new restaurants.

I've been looking for a new dental practice being new to the area and am so glad that I found Dr. Salzberg and her amazing team. The office is clean. The staff takes their time to make sure you're fully accommodated and have all of your questions/concerns addresses. Dr. Salzburg is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about her profession and really goes out of her way to take care of her patients. 11/10 would recommend for anyone in the Northern VA area :-)

I had an extensive gum graft accomplished by Dr. Salzberg and the results are phenomenal. She is so talented and her patient care is thorough and compassionate. I continue to see her annually, for routine exams, and I can say that the hygenist, Kim, recently performed the most extensive well check and cleaning I have EVER had and I'm 64! This practice is top notch for craftsmanship and for bedside manner. I highly recommend!

If you are a person that is dental phobic, this is the periodontal office for you. My entire experience from making my appointment to walking out the door was seamless. The young lady I spoke with while setting up the appointment was incredibly efficient and well-versed in answering my questions regarding insurance. The entire staff was extremely caring. The doctor made every effort to keep me comfortable and minimize discomfort. I would highly recommend this office to my friends and family.

I have followed Dr. Salzberg from her practice in Virginia Beach to her new practice in Vienna. Her and her staff have always been courteous and I have always received quality care. She clearly explains all treatment options and explains each procedure in detail. I like that she listens to me to understand my concerns and factors this into her recommendations for my care as well. I am so happy that I have a Periodontists I can trust!

Dr Salzberg is an excellent periodontists. She extracted a very painful broken tooth and cleared all infection. She explained everything as the operation proceeded and successfully controlled any pain. No pain after she finished. Great job.

I highly recommend Dr. Salzberg. I was referred to her after having a root canal. I had never been to a periodontist and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Salzberg was very caring, explained everything she was doing and put me at ease. Her office staff were also very pleasant and caring. If I ever need a periodontist again, Dr. Salzberg will be the first person I call!

Dr. Saltzberg provided us with excellent surgical care for a procedure. She explained everything before the appointment and gave options that made us more comfortable with the process. She has a small practice which provided personal, individualized attention. The office staff are professional and knowledgeable. Appreciated how much she consulted with the referring doctor to ensure care coordination. Dr. Saltzberg answered questions during late hours for a few days afterward which was reassuring. Would definitely return to her practice in the future.

I was a patient of Dr. Gannon for over 20 years and after he retired I wanted to find a periodontist closer to where I live to avoid the 1+hr drive. However, after trying 3 others closer to home I decided to give Dr. Saltzberg a try. Despite the long commute, she is well worth the time it takes to get there. I find her to be professional, articulate, patient, and she has a gentle manner that alleviates any stress I might otherwise feel when sitting in her dental chair!!! Her staff are efficient and polite and they worked well with me when I had to reschedule many appointments because of ill health. The office is clean, bright and comfortable and I'm impressed with the precautions everyone takes during these challenging days of COVID. She also takes time in the office to share her expertise with young students interested in either the medical or dental professions, another quality that makes this periodontist pretty special. I look forward to my visits with Dr. Saltzberg and I'm sure she will continue to provide outstanding periodontal care

Over the years I have not been to the dentist simply out of fear. I only go when there's a major problem. Recently I had to have a bone grafting before the placement of dental implants. I absolutely adore Dr. Trang Salzberg, she is a beautiful, brilliant professional and is an excellent implant surgeon, has a high level of empathy and humanity. Same is true for her staff. Very professional. The practice has a calming and elegant atmosphere. I have never had to wait and the care I received was extraordinary. They also are taking every necessary precaution to protect their staff and patients during Covid-19 and it's much appreciated! I am so grateful and highly recommend this place to anyone that looking for great dental services.

Despite of the rocky transition with Dr. Gannon's practice ...Dr. Salzberg is very detail oriented and attentive to her art of dentistry. A very experienced, reliable and trustworthy practitioner. Vienna, Va is very lucky to have her.
