David G. Darany, DDS, MS Dr. David G. Darany attended college at Wayne State University and dental school at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He completed his periodontal training and masters degree at Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He continues his education through the American Academy of Periodontology and the Bunting Periodontal Study Club. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry where he has taught for 19 years. He is a member of ADA, MDA, American Academy of Periodontology, the Detroit District Dental Society and is past president of the Southwest Component of the Detroit District Dental Society.
Lauren M. Syrowik, DDS, MS Dr. Syrowik trained in Periodontics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she served as Chief Resident for two years. She received her certificate and Master of Biomedical Sciences in Periodontics. During her three-year residency, Dr. Syrowik received extensive clinical training in regenerative periodontal therapy, soft and hard tissue reconstruction, esthetic periodontal procedures, oral medicine, IV sedation and placement of dental implants.Furthermore, Dr. Syrowik makes it a practice to develop close relationships with her patients and believes that dentistry is most effective when the needs of the patient come firsta guiding principle of her residency at Mayo Clinic.Dr. Syrowik is also a published author in the field of periodontics, and is an active member in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Midwest Society of Periodontology. Prior to her specialty training, she attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she attained her Bachelor of Arts degree. Dr. Syrowik continued her education at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she earned her D.D.S. degree.While in dental school, Dr. Syrowik was recognized for distinguished achievement through the Pierre Fauchard Academy and Bunting Periodontal Society. She was also elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Linda L. Dobis, DDS With over 20 years of experience Dr. Linda Dobis continues to maintain her passion for periodontics, implants and education. Dr. Dobis received her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She completed a hospital dental residency at the University of Iowa, where she stayed to complete her periodontal and implant training. Dr. Dobis is a Diplomate in The American Board of Periodontology. She returned to Michigan and began teaching at the University of Detroit Mercy. She started practicing at Periodontic and Implantology Associates the same year.Dr. Dobiss teaching excellence has been recognized by peers and students alike, and she was awarded clinical instructor of the year at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She was the faculty advisor to her dental fraternity for over 15 years. Dr. Dobis has been elected as a delegate or alternate to the Michigan Dental Association multiple times. She is known for her kind and caring attitude, while her clinical expertise remains cutting edge. She has spoken on periodontics and implants locally and regionally.

Dr. Dobis and all of the staff in the Milford office were so incredibly helpful!! I can not thank them enough for the amazing care they provided. They were patient, professional, caring, and made sure all of our needs were addressed. They went above and beyond to take care of my son. Highly recommend!

My first and second visit here were great! I scheduled my third visit only to be called to reschedule, which was one month out (not happy about that, but I understand) I arrive for my third appointment and the receptionist Jenny asks to collect up front. I have no problem paying my bills, but when it is 3 times more than the original treatment plan I questioned why. I was told that is what our insurance specialist shows you will owe. I am very confused and keep pushing. Jenny finally tells me they are no longer in network with my insurance and that is why it is so much. WOW!!! I take time off work, then you are going to try to pull a fast one, or at least that is how it seemed and that is why you were collecting upfront. I am a medical biller, and make sure I am treating with providers in-network at all times. A phone call in advance would have been the professional thing to do. So for this reason alone I am giving you one star. People beware!

Dr Dobis is an exceptional Periodontist. She was caring & thoroughly explained the procedure & totally alleviated my anxiety & concerns. Her dental assistants also put me at ease from start to finish. You simply can't find a better Dr or staff for your Periodontal needs..

I have visited the Periodontic & Implantology Associates - Milford twice in the past six months. On my first visit, I met with a periodontist who provided me with a thorough evaluation of my condition and encouraged me to feel hopeful and not fearful about my situation. On my second visit, I worked with one of the dental hygienists and I can truly say I have not had such excellent care in a long time. The staff work with a sincerity and efficiency that is rare these days. Everyone I have interacted with so far has been kind, gentle, and sensitive to my needs. It is no fun to go to the dentist, and it is even less fun to have periodontal treatment. It is essential in such a case that the patient should feel safe. That has been my experience here. I felt cared for and I knew I was in safe hands. A combination of professionalism and compassion made my experience worth talking about.

I was extremely nervous my first time. Dr. Dobis and Christina put me at ease. Dr. Dobis is amazing, professional, very personable, gentle and an all around wonderful lady. Christina cleaned my teeth and offered suggestions, very knowledgeable and friendly. I walked out of there knowing I'd be back. Give them a try, you won't regret it. Dr. Dobis and her entire staff are the best!
