Dr. Jack Lincks was born in New Orleans. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force, serving 21 years in the Dental Corps and retiring at the rank of Colonel (06). His military assignments include: Homestead AFB, Fl; Elmendorf AFB, AK; Lackland AFB, TX; Langley AFB, VA; and Hickam AFB, HI. He was deployed for the Persian Gulf War, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, in 1990.
Dr. Lincks completed his Periodontal Residency and Masters of Science at Wilford Hall Medical Center/University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 1999. His Masters of Science research facilitated the development of current surface technology for dental implants. Hereceived his Master Laser certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2011.
Dr. Lincks is currently a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the International College of Dentists, the Idaho State Dental Association, and the Southwest Idaho and Treasure Valley Dental Societies. He is alsoan Instructor of Periodontics II at CSI for the Dental Hygiene Program. He is the past Chairman of the Idaho Oral Health Alliance and is the Director of the High Desert Sage Study Club and High Desert Sage Hygiene Study Club.
Dr. Randy Demetter was raised in Troy, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Following his dental training, he decided to pursue his interest in periodontics.
Dr. Demetter attended a three-year residency in periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he attained his Masters of Science and Certificate in Periodontics. While in San Antonio, Dr. Demetters research interests focused on various materials and methods for extraction and ridge preservation and he has co-authored two articles.
Dr. Demetter is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the Idaho State Dental Association, and the Southwest Idaho Dental Society.He is also and a Clinical Professor for the ISU Dental Residency in Meridian and isDirector of the High Desert Sage Study Club and High Desert Sage Hygiene Study Club.
Dr. Michael Florence, a native Idahoan, was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr. Florence earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Oregon Health Science Center. He then entered into a 1 year General Practice Residency (GPR), sponsored by the United States Air Force, and practiced for 3 years as a general dentist before entering periodontal residency training.
Dr. Florence completed his Periodontal Residency and Masters of Science at Wilford Hall Medical Center/University of Texas. His research regarding bone growth and initiation has been published and presented at the International Association of Dental Research. As a senior resident in periodontal training, Dr. Florence and his co-horts achieved the highest score in the nation on the National In-Service Training Exams given to all periodontal residents in the 45 periodontal training programs throughout the nation. Following completion of his military obligation, Dr. Florence returned to Idaho to practice periodontics.
Dr. Florence is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Academy of Oral Pathology.

This is a very late post. I had oral surgery done in January, the staff were polite, Dr. Demetter was great! He walked me through everything he was doing. Follow up appointments were a breeze. This is one happy customer!

If you need a tooth pulled, these are the people to see! They are awesome, especially Dr. Demetter. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as well as professional. They put me at ease and encouraged me throughout the entire process.

A Wonderful, and caring team!! Dr. Lincks and his assistant during my surgery were caring and compassionate about my comfortability throughout the procedure. Rose and Chayla did a great job with my follow up deep cleaning and follow up cleaning. I appreciated their gentle care and thoroughness!! The front desk team deserve kudos as well, they made setting appointments, checking in and follow up a streamline flow!! Thank you!!

I was very impressed by Dr. Demetter's care and work. I have worked in a Few dental offices and even just being a patient at doctors offices, sometimes, it feels as though the patient is a number. I did not get that impression from this office at all. I feel like dr. Demetter genuinely cares about you as the patient, and wants you to be taken care of. Even after the procedure was complete, he was following up with me and was readily available to take any of my calls himself and listen to and take care of my concerns. Hands down I would go see Dr. Demetter again if I am need of a periodontist In the future.

I have 2 molar teeth to be implanted and the work has been done by DR. Jack Lincks. All the experience and results are excellent. Doctor Lincks has great skill and the staff is friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend Dr. Links and the Periodontal Health Specialists of Idaho.
