Dr. Ranjitha Krishna is a Board Certified Periodontist and Implant surgeon. She received her DMD from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and graduate training in Periodontics (MSD) from Indiana University. She also has a Masters in Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and has previously worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Krishna worked as an Associate Professor in the department of Periodontics at The College of Dental Medicine, Augusta University (formerly known as Medical College of Georgia) since 2008, where she has been involved in the training of many dental students and periodontal residents.
Dr. Krishna is passionate about Periodontics and genuinely cares about the overall well being of her patients. She was awarded the Outstanding Educator award by the American Academy of Periodontology and the Excellence in Teaching award by the American College of Dentists and was nominated by her peers and students. She has co-authored many scientific papers and textbook chapters related to periodontics and presented in national and international meetings.
Dr. Krishna and her family moved back to Atlanta in 2016 when her husband Raj started working at Emory University and she has been practicing Periodontics in the Greater Atlanta area. Dr. Krishna and her husband Raj along with their children Diya, Anshul, and Golden Doodle 'Muffin', live in Cobb County and are very excited to be a part of Dr. Silver and Tomasellis amazing practice. She cant wait to meet all our patients.
Dr. Dante Tomaselli hasbeen in private practice in Marietta since 1994, specializing in Periodontics and Dental Implants. He lives in Kennesaw with his wife Claudia and their two children. Dr. Tomaselli was raised in Smyrna and Marietta, Georgia and graduated from R.L. Osborne High School in 1981
He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistryfrom Berry College located in Rome, Georgia in 1985. Later, he was presented with the 1994 Outstanding Young Alumni award from Berry College
He attended dental school atthe Medical College of Georgia located in Augusta, Georgia and receivedhis Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1989. Among his experiences in school, he traveled to Adelaide, Australia in the summer of 1988 for an externship at the University of Adelaide School of Dentistry. Before graduation, he was awarded membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honorary Dental Society. He then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry where he completedhis specialty training in Periodontics and Dental Implants in 1991
He then taught for two years at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine,where he, in 1993, was awarded the Joseph Appleton Award asthe ClinicalInstructor of the year. He also completed a two year Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistryat the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital

While the doctor and her team were wonderful during the procedure, my medicine was not called in and had to be in pain all weekend even after calling the office. There is a prompt to leave a message for Dr. Krishna but her mailbox was full and so i was forced to leave a text with my number to call me back. She never did.

I went to Dr. Krishna after I read her patient reviews. I have anxiety about dentist but Dr. Krishna was so supportive and gentle. She treated me with care and I have minimal anxiety now. The office and the staff are very professional and accommodating.

I had a gum procedure done and yes I was scared. Judy the dental assistant was great. She took care of me and made sure I was okay the entire procedure. I had no pain until I left but I had all the scripts at the house waiting for me. Thanks Doc and Judy.
