Dr. Cary Feuerman and Dr. Giovanni Castellucci joined Periodontal Associates in the mid 1980s. As certified and highly skilled surgical specialists, each with over thirty years of experience, both doctors are experts in solving your dental problems and providing you with the highest quality dental implant, periodontal, or bone regenerative treatment. Dr. Feuerman and Dr. Castellucci have consistently improved the quality of life for thousands of our patients by restoring ideal dental health and function and creating beautiful smiles for the past three decades.
Dr. Cary Feuerman earned his D.M.D. degree with honors from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He received several awards for outstanding achievement as a student, including admission into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society a prestigious honor reserved for the top five graduating dental students. Dr. Feuerman also received his specialty training certificate in periodontics at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1985. He is an active member in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and Massachusetts Dental and Periodontal Societies. He is also a past president of the Metrowest Dental Study Club, an affiliate of the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Feuerman has taught in the graduate periodontics clinic at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, and continues to lecture on a variety of topics including periodontics, esthetic periodontal therapy, dental implant treatment, and bone regeneration. Dr. Feuerman is presently a co-director of the Periodontal Associates Study Club, founded in 1988, which provides continuing dental education for the local community of dental professionals.

Lisa, the office manager, is a lovely and caring person. She personally called me to work out a little problem I had at my appointment, and went above and beyond to resolve it. A little caring goes a long way, and now I can recommend that office, because of her responsiveness.

Dr. Castellucci and his staff have been terrific. Thorough with insurance information, gentle procedure and follow up. The procedure itself was smooth, while Dr. Castellucci and his assistant checked in how I was doing. The gum surgery/graft has a painful/uncomfortable recovery, but the team at Periodontist Associates was very helpful with my questions and allowed for two follow ups as well to be sure healing was on the right track. I highly recommend this team!

My husband saw Dr. Cary Feuerman this June/July to get his gum surgery. We have no complains about the procedure. However, I wanted to complain about the office staffs and billing. My husband was referred by his primary dentist to Dr. Feuerman for gum graft, and he called a couple of times to see whether Dr. Feuerman was in network. However, he never got a definite, straight yes or no answer from the front desk, he was told they need to run insurance first and insurance may cover part of it. It turned out that we had to pay around $1800 after insurance for one gum graft (insurance paid around $500). We thought the procedure was expensive because our insurance was not good enough to cover it. Actually we were never told that Dr. Feuerman was out of network although we did ask straight for a couple of times!! We finally decided to do it although it was expensive, and we believed Dr. Feuerman was in network. Last week my coworker just got the same surgery done in in net work dentist office, it was only $280 after insurance. All of us were shocked and we just know the truth. We talked to the lady who took care of billing today and she also talked to Dr. Feuerman, and I was told there is nothing her can do to previous surgery. We are very upset about this!

Dr. Fuerman is great ! Not sure why the other comment had such trouble but when I asked if they worked with insurance companies they told me straight out that they do not but if your insurance allows you to see out of network doctors it may be covered if you don't have that type of insurance then you will pay out of pocket .....they do not work with any insurances ! Other than that the office is great , gtrat staff very friendly peridontist i highly recomend
