Dr. Trejo has certificates in both specialties; Prosthodontics and Periodontics. He received his Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and his Certificate and Masters Degree in Periodontics from The Unversity of Texas in Houston, TX. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds a Clinical Associate Professor position in the Department of Periodontology of The University of Texas, School of Dentistry at Houston, Dr. Trejo has extensive experience in both clinical and instructional implant, surgical, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Sauceda was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He studied in a private school to become bilingual in both Spanish and English. He moved from his home town to study abroad in the capital city of Honduras, Tegucigalpa. He received his DDS degree from National Autonomous University of Honduras, UNAH in 2002. He moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue advanced training in the field of Prosthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2006-2009). He continued his studies in Periodontology (2009-2012) and received certificates from both the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Sauceda was also awarded a Master of Science Degree in the field of Prosthodontics from UAB.
Dr. Sauceda is among a small number of clinicians who has completed post-graduate training in both Prosthodontics and Periodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and certified in dental implant surgery and currently working to achieve Diplomate Status in Prosthodontics to become 6th in the nation with dual Diplomate Certification.
Dr. Marino began cultivating her talents in Bogota, Colombia, where she received her DDS degree from the Colegio Odontologico Colombiano. She then completed her periodontal training at the Dental College in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Marino is an active member of several dental associations and is a board certified periodontist by the American Academy of Periodontology. Upon working with Dr. Marino, you will discover that she upholds the highest standards in ethical and moral values that every periodontist should encompass.
Dr. Michaiel is a board certified periodontist who graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she continues to teach as a part-time professor. she is affiliated with numerous local and national dental organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration and American Association of Periodontology. Dr. Michaiel is passionate about periodontics and has dedicated her career to providing the highest quality of care to her patients using the latest research and technology.
Dr. Trejo has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She graduated from University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1987 and attended her General Practice Residency at the Michael E. Debakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. With her extensive experience and clinical skills, Dr. Trejo achieves remarkable results in general and restorative dentistry. Her patients appreciate her gentle approach to dentistry which integrates passion and care in efforts to making her patients feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Trejo's practice includes specialists who perform periodontal surgery (gum surgery) and implant dentistry. She is committed to recommending the most beneficial treatment plans that focus on the well-fare of her patients and achieving their ultimate goals.
Dr. Trejo commits herself to excellence by being an active member of the American Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Osseointegration. When she is not in the office, Dr. Trejo resides in Houston and spends quality time with her husband, daughter, and their dogs. She is involved in the community and also participates in charitable causes.

After a some Bad experiences as a child and young adult I was recommended to Dr. Cornelia Trejo by a family friend. I had a tooth that needed to be extracted so I gave her a call and expressed my fear of going to a dentist office for any type of work other than a cleaning... From the start Dr. Trejo was very understanding, helpful, and amazing at making sure I was comfortable and in no pain at all. During all of my recent procedures I have been in no pain and all of the work has turned out very well with no issues. For anyone that has fear of the dentist like myself I highly recommend you give Dr. Trejo a try. Just let her know your fears like I did and she will make sure you are comfortable in any way she can.

I've been coming for years and am so glad that I have. Dr Trejo is a practical and excellent dentist. She doesn't perform unnecessary procedures yet keeps a close eye on anything that could become a problem. I hope she never retires!

Thank you so much to the highly qualified Dr. Sauceda and Antonio for my wonderful results. Both made me feel so comfortable with their great bedside manners and explaining everything to me. My crown lengthening was a huge success and I could not believe what a drastic change it made. Its 3 weeks since my procedure and I am healing well without any problems. The office is run very professionally. My appointments are always on schedule and I have never had to wait long and I have always felt well taken care of there. A great team at Periodontal and Implant Surgeons of Houston.
