He lived in Maryland until he went to study Chemistry and Chemical engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. At college, he discoveredhis passion wasin health science, and he decided to pursuedentistry as it is a great combination of health science and engineering.
Following Cornell University, he went to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2002 and subsequently his first speciality training in periodontics in 2005. Go blue~
After he got married, he movedto Boulder, CO. He started apractice limited to dental implant surgery and periodontics there. Until 2013, he worked very hard as a periodontist and played hard with the nature: hiking, skiing, golfing, and mountain biking.After treating thousands of implant and periodontal patients, some of whom referred back and forth among specialists, he decided to become an endo-perio dual specialist to serve his patients better.
After relocating to Atlanta with his wife, Milee Kim, who is a pediatric dentist and two children,Christian and Irene,he practiced as an associate before opening his own practice in Sandy Springs Perimeter Endodontics & Implants, LLC.
