Dr. Michael A. Perillo is a Board Certified orthodontist who is passionate about the orthodontic needs of his patients. I want to improve the quality of life for my patients by contributing to their sense of well-being and to their development of self-image. I am blessed to have the ability to balance my family life, private practice and teaching responsibilities in a profession I truly cherish.'
Dr. Perillo has been providing exceptional orthodontic care since 1995. He attended Boston College for his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Philosophy. Dr. Perillo continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1993 and his specialty certificate in Orthodontics in 1995.
His professional memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists (active member/Scientific Lecturer), Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (active member) and the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists (Treasurer). Dr. Perillo is the Professor/Director of Pre-Doctoral Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and a Faculty Orthodontist at the Hackensack University Medical Center's Department of Dentistry.
We never want costs to stand in the way of quality treatment, which is why we are dedicated to providing our patients with care that is both effective and affordable. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.
We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. We accept payment by cash, checks and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. We also offer in-house payment plans as well as discounts for payment in full at the start of service and for multiple family members in treatment.
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.
We will file insurance claims on your behalf and fully attempt to help you receive the full benefit; however, you are personally responsible for your account. Should your benefit change or terminate during active treatment, your out-of-pocket expenses may be subject to change. Please make sure to let us know of any changes to you coverage.

Wonderful experience all around. Have been dr.Perillo's patient twice. First time as a 33 year old with severe crowding ( 2.5 years in braces with amazing final result), and second time when I brought my teenager to him. Dr. Perillo is amazing and his office staff is wonderful.

Had a great appointment with Dr. Perillo. He is very attentive and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. His staff is great! When I made the appointment all of the office procedures were fully explained and I also received a follow up which made me feel very comfortable going to the office. I would highly recommend Dr. Perillo and his staff!

Dr. Perillo is the most amazing orthodontist! He is extremely intelligent, professional and kind. I have been going to his office for over 12 years.. I have 3 children who all needed ortho work. He treats each of my children with respect and kindness. Dr.Perillo truly cares about each and every patient. His office staff are wonderful! It is always a pleasure to deal with every member of his professional staff. They are very sweet and caring. Dr. Perillo's office will provide you and your family with the best service and care all around . He advises various forms of treatment and guides you through the process. There is even a payment plan option ! During these unprecedented times , the office of Dr. Michael Perillo has helped to ease my anxiety. They practice the best measures to insure that my children and I are safe and taken care of. I can not thank them enough for helping to take care of my children as if they were their own.

I couldn't recommend Perillo Orthodontics more! In addition to making sure my children have beautiful smiles, Dr. Perillo makes sure they're safe too! The office is impeccably clean and every COVID safety protocol is in place (and then some!) Everyone there makes you feel like you're in good hands-especially Gina!! Dr. Perillo and his staff are simply the best!

Dr. Perillo and his wonderful staff are kind, professional, and are outstanding with patient care. Very accommodating when any repair is needed on any type of orthodontic issue. Office is very clean and pristine. The office procedures were on point with COVID. They took every precaution even disposing of pencils upon usage. Their COVID protocol gave my son and I peace of mind. Dr. Perillo and his staff are truly caring.
