Performance Dental Center prides itself on providing general and sports dental services to families and athletes in and around Boulder. Dr. Ribbens is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and after dental school in Minneapolis set his sights on practicing along the beautiful Colorado front range. He completed his undergraduate degree in nutrition at the University of Minnesota before being accepted into their dental program. He began practicing dentistry in 2017 in Arvada, Colorado, and found us at Performance Dental Center in January of 2020. Dr. Ribbens is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Boulder Broomfield County Dental Society. His favorite thing about practicing in Boulder is meeting all of the amazing patients while helping them achieve their best oral health. He currently resides in Longmont, Colorado with his wife Deidre and their dog Ozwald. When not in the office, Dr. Ribbens enjoys cycling, skiing, Italian wine, playing guitar, traveling, and all kinds of cheese.
After receiving his undergraduate education from the University of Kansas in 2007, he then went on to complete dental school at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
He is a member of multiple organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Denver Implant Study Club. Most notably, he is the 2019 Vice President of the Boulder/Broomfield County Dental Society and a recipient of the peer-nominated 5280 Best Dentist Award for 2018 and 2019. Dr. Sigman has received recognition from the Seattle Study Club as well as the Horace G. Wells Award for Excellence in Dental Anesthesiology. He is also the only dentist in the Boulder area who is a member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Dr. Sigman has been practicing in Boulder since 2012, and he opened Performance Dental Center in 2016. He loves meeting and interacting with all the awesome people in Boulder and helping them achieve their health goals. In addition, he has acquired co-ownership of successful family dental offices in Denver and Aurora, Colorado.
Slash has been with Performance Dental Center since the first day, and while he doesn't have any formal training, he's completed thorough on-the-job training. He loves getting to meet the patients, and is rewarded for his hard work with daily treats and belly rubs.

My first visit at performance dental was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and transparent with any costs or billing that could show up and also gave a personable feel with great conversation. The visit was also very efficient they didn't take me late and I was out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend performance dental if you live in the nearby area they are awesome!

I've been seeing Dallas for regular cleanings for the past two years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire staff is amazing and I don't dread going to the dentist like I use to. Everyone makes an effort to get to know you and make you feel like a valued patient. I will continue to go to Performance Dental Center for all of my dental appointments.

Dallas is great, and Staffs are friendly except for the Office Manager. Please get a second opinion when you need fillings or crowns, and make sure to have them email you the final cost agreement (not only verbal) so you won't get a surprise bill after one year.

I was scheduled to have a more intensive cleaning that required multiple shots in the mouth. Admittedly, I was nervous and anxious going into the appointment. Dallas Strong was wonderful in calming my fears, easing my anxiety and explaining the procedure. Ultimately, the cleaning went by just fine. They did use a topical numbing ointment before shots and I did not really experience any pain at all. I'm very happy with my experiences here thus far and will continue to come back.

My family was impacted Omicron and the Marshall fire which forced me to cancel two appointments. Now I'm getting mail requesting cancellation fees and have been told I've been dropped as a patient. So, if you're looking for a dental office that lacks compassion this one may be a good fit for you.

I have recommended Dr. Sigman, Dr. Ribbens, Dallas, and the Performance Dental Center staff to everyone I know. I have dozens of friends and family members who are now patients at Performance Dental because of the excellent care they've received. Prior to Performance Dental, I didn't have insurance and hadn't been to the dentist in far too long. Thankfully, when I met Dr. Sigman, I received zero judgement and he created a thoughtful plan of action to get me to a healthier place. Dallas has been my hygienist since the beginning, Dr. Ribbens has since taken over as my dentist, and I'm grateful for their consistent care every time I step into the office. I have not missed a cleaning or check-up since I became a patient. They have my highest recommendation and all of my gratitude!
