3 years ago I had the worst experience with this dental practice. I initially left a review, but noticed it was never posted. I want to share insight on why you should avoid this facility. Background: I have never had any concerns or doubt with who have worked on my teeth. I always did my routine exams and had great dentists. It wasn't until my insurance switched and I had to find a new practice. 1st time @ PDC - I was taken back and had a few girls working on my teeth. There was a lot going on in my mouth and I was really confused by the latest "gadgets" this practice had. After my initial screening the Dentist indicated I had EIGHT cavities. EIGHT! How do I go from zero to 8 in a one year timespan? I was naive for trusting this practice, but once again - never had a bad experience and thought... well you are the professional? What do you recommend? They ended up working on 3 teeth initially. Filling Process: I felt super uneasy the 2nd they started working in my mouth. I asked them to take the things out of my mouth and let it sit open naturally. I had aches and pains already from it being propped open and then the numbing from my shot didn't help it. It took 2-3 jabs until it felt more numb. (I understand everyone is different). As the team started drilling and filling - everything felt extremely off. I tried to ration with myself thinking (it's the numbing, I'm tired, I have pain from being here so long etc.) NO. Afterwards: After the team claimed my teeth were good and the fillings were set. My jaw felt unbelievably lopsided. As I drove home, I could hear clicking when my teeth sat together. I knew immediately my fillings were too high and not leveled out. By the time I went home - the pain became more extreme. I went to casually bite down and my teeth ended up chipping in 4 places! 4 TEETH CHIPPED! COMPLAINT: When I called into the office, the front office didn't seem to care. The receptionist said to come in and have them take a look so I did. I didn't want to go back, but did thinking they would fix something/anything! When I went back to drill, I could tell they weren't even working on the correct tooth. Everything was still off! I kept telling her it's too high, it doesn't feel right! I eventually left after feeling like they couldn't be trusted. POST PROCESS: I finally went to another dentist out-of-pocket and they showed me my previous x-rays and the PDC x-rays. I had a 2nd opinion after that to confirm the damage and what I need to do now. Then I had a 3rd opinion. All the dentists stated there was no reason PDC should have performed any fillings. One stated to call the Illinois Dental Association to make a report. IDA was of course, no help. They said by the time I hired a lawyer it would cost me 6K and be dragged out for potential a year or two. ---Which is exactly why practices get away with poor quality of work/fraud. I ended up having to get 2 crowns to fix the chipped teeth and have yet to replace my other teeth. The stress of perfectly good teeth being RUINED and replaced with a crown is unexplainable. I absolutely loved the dentist and PDC completely ruined my comfort level going to any facility. LASTLY- What makes me laugh/annoyed is after reading the reviews on this page - you can see how ignorant their staff is by the responses they leave to the negative reviews. People who do business let alone GOOD business do not sit there and argue or make snarky remarks to reviews. Very unprofessional and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Had to cancel my appointment due to getting sick. I contemplated on still going but would've felt terrible if I got someone sick. Therefore, I called to cancel and they told me if I wanted to reschedule I needed to pay $150. I guess I should've just gone to the appointment and gotten them sick. What a scam.

Jackie is the absolute best hygienist and I have dealt with the awful office staff for the last 10 years just to go to her but I can't anymore. They're rude. They refuse to hold themselves accountable for providing accurate insurance information and instead blame me for "not knowing my own insurance". Then I canceled an appt 2x over the course of 10 years (once in April, then again in September of this year) and I receive a text saying I'm going to be penalized for canceling with less than 24 hr notice. Well I have sick kids, what else should I do? They don't exactly give me a 24 hr notice either when they're going to be sick! I'm also sick and when I called and asked Tammy (the unempathetic person that sent aforementioned text) if I should just come in sick, she told me YES!! Depending on what my symptoms are!! She said they're running a business over there and they can't accept cancellations. She literally encouraged me to come into their office sick and with two sick kids at home. I'm disgusted with Tammy and Performance Dental Care for allowing this woman talk to patients like that and working in a healthcare environment! Absolutely unacceptable. Do better. We're human beings not just an insurance policy for your business to capitalize on.

My daughters had to get new fills because PDC used faulty material, and unserviced Invisalign for me, still have nubs on my teeth needing removal, but they threatened me to pay money until I gave in and paid it. I see Tinley Park Dental now.

I have been going here for several years now and that's the longest at any dentist. Everyone is super friendly. There are never surprise charges, all price plans are discussed up front. No judgements just honest evaluations. I do not dread going to the dentist anymore thanks to this office.

All of the staff are very thoughtful as well as most helpful. They are experts in what they do. They do exactly what they say they are going to do and more because they care for your well being. It has been two years that I have been going here and have never been disappointed. Thanks to all so very much.

Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. They have a $150 cancellation fee is you don't cancel within 48hrs and only have a 10 min grace period for those who are running late to appointments. EDIT: RESPONSE TO OWNER: I have only been here twice! So you are clearly lying about "over the years". This is hilarious! I don't even have a "family". I am single and have only been here myself. What a joke.
