Great group of people from the receptionist to the dentist. Susana is an awesome hygienist who is gentle and efficient. Does such a good job on my teeth. Highly recommend this office for your dental care.

I was checked in immediately. I waited only moments till the friendly professional dental assistant sowed me to my chair. Dr. Ochenrider is the "whisperer " of the dental world. During my treatment today, he was focused on what I needed and demonstrated that unique ability to see what ' more' I needed with soft words and support! I am very appreciative.

In addition to being an excellent practitioner, Dr. Ochenrider actually listens to and engages with the patient. So rare in the medical world! The dental assistant, Cornelia (did I recall the correct name; my apologies if not) was very competent and nice. Making the appointment was easy thanks to Yvonne.

Update: I notified the dental board of the dentist listed below in question, Dr Zhao. He lost his ability to practice in the state of North Carolina for doing unnecessary procedures and lack of appropriate documentation. I see this review has moved locations, if this dentist is practicing in New Mexico I am warning those who are considering going to this dentist as the dentist has lost their license once for unethical practices. I have the full 300 page court document sent to me by the board of dentistry. I waited two hours for an evaluation for a prophylactic cleaning. Once evaluated I was told I would need a deep cleaning due to inflammation of my gums. Just to preface, I have never missed my six month cleaning, never had a cavity, floss frequently (not daily), have an electric toothbrush, and use my mouthwash. I have never had any dentist or dental hygienist concerned about my gums or my teeth. The gum measurements at this location were 5 and 6 respectively and just six months prior at my old dentist (located in DC) 1 to 3 respectively. There is no noticeable change to my gums and I have no bleeding to my gums. When I expressed my concerns they warned me I was going against medical advice and wanted to provide sedation (much more $$$) and a 'deep clean.' I refused and requested just a prophylactic cleaning. I was told I would have to sign a waiver to get a six month cleaning before they escorted me to the front desk. Once at the front desk they all but refused to schedule that cleaning and once again tried to force me into this more expensive deep cleaning. Needless to say I will not be returning and will get a second opinion about my gums/teeth. My impression was that they were looking to earn a little more revenue off my cleaning since that would not be covered by my insurance. Seek another dentist at all cost.

Dentist and orthodontist appointments at this location are like killing two birds with one stone. This have been our main office since 2007. We've also been to a couple of other PT locations and we've been satisfied with the services provided there. From wisdom teeth to gum graft, we've received great services.
