The unfortunate part is that I really did love the staff - the dentist, hygienists, and technicians were wonderful when we were in office. But that's where my positive feedback ends... The office incorrectly billed the insurance, charging us almost $300 over. We had been in contact with them for 4 months and each time we received a new bill, we were told to ignore it and they would fix it. NOPE. Instead, they sent it to collections. Called again. They assured us that we don't owe anything, and that they would correct the mistake and make sure it doesn't go to collections. NOPE. Another bill, another collections notice. The run-around to get the billing department to correct their mistake has been an absolute nightmare. Several months later: They. Still. Haven't. Done. Anything. I now have to go through the effort of filing an insurance fraud claim against the clinic. Save yourself the time and headache spanning across nearly half a year - choose a different company. Perfect Teeth is clearly doing some sketchy stuff.

Worst dental service experience I have ever had. A few years ago, Dr. Mears convinced me to put an unnecessary crown over my preexisting root canal. They told me it might not have been sealed off correctly by my previous dentist, which could be bad. The tooth had a cavity, but was still intact. Fast forward through painful hours of them drilling my tooth to dust all over me, and it turns out it was sealed properly after all. Subsequent dentists have told me there's signs of nicks to my other teeth from that job, and that the person who did that would not have passed in dental school. Then begins the wait for the replacement crown. They ordered it the wrong size not once but twice. It's the wrong size and color, and has never successfully merged with the surrounding gums. As a result, I had to defend my dissertation with a faulty temporary crown, which just added to my worries needlessly when they told me it would have been done months prior. Expensive as all hell to boot. Do not go here.

Made a cleaning appointment months in advance, and they canceled it the day before the appointment. During the first cleaning, the hygenist was rude and unaccomodating of my disability when I asked if she could do the cleanjng without the ultrasonic. I really expected more from this place with all the positive reviews it had.

Waited 3 months to get a retainer fitted when I was told it would take 3 weeks. They told me the retainer was just sitting on the shelf for many weeks by the time it was fitted. I called weekly to check on the piece, but was always told that it had not arrived yet. EDIT: After seeing the review above, the dentist personally contacted me to apologize for the poor service and went out of his way to double check that the retainer was fitting well.

I originally began going to Dr. John M years ago after feeling that I wasn't getting the most honest advice from a dentist in Foco. I continue as a client due his professionalism, high competency, honesty & ability to always make the experience pain-free. I drive a long distance as I'm no longer in the front range area & it's worth the trip. Thanks to him & his assistants. Karen is great too, you'll learn a lot about proper hygiene, sports & Ohio!

This place is a junk show. I specifically requested not to be scheduled with a specific hygienist who I heard negative reviews about. I show up and they assign me to that exact hygienist. I informed them I did not want x-rays. They forced me to get x-rays. After the x-rays, the hygienist told me they keep losing x-rays and that files keep getting deleted. The exam light was not working. I told the hygienist I didn't feel comfortable with her working on me without it. She said "can I try?" and tried to work on my teeth. I asked to wait in the waiting room while they changed the light and ended up walking out. Horrible experience. I felt very uncomfortable and don't recommend this dentist. Do. Not. Go. Here.

As always, a very accommodating staff who rearranged my need to reschedule a cleaning date. The hygienist did a wonderful cleaning job with helpful ideas on how to improve my use of floss etc.

The dentist & staff are wonderful. I overheard two of them talking about how great it was to work with the dentist after he left for the day. Good to know he's good with everyone, not just customers.

There was a mixup with scheduling and I ended up at the wrong location. I was there because of sudden pain that popped up in my mouth. They were able to squeeze me in for some x-rays right then and there and caught something that needed attention. I'm really grateful for their ability to fit me in and the care they took while I was there.

Dr. Mears is a highly-skilled, knowledgeable, friendly and gentle dentist. He has put his initial education and subsequent practice to great use by ensuring the best immediate dental repairs, and by crafting the most comprehensive long-term treatment plans, carefully tailored to his patients' needs. He is consistently highly attentive to my concerns, requests and fears, and goes above and beyond to help with everything from putting me at ease, to navigating the insurance/ Medicaid morass. The staff are all highly competent and friendly, and ensure one's comfort while executing quality work in an efficient (yet unrushed), caring, personable and friendly manner. Follow-up communications from the reception staff are timely and informative; They will go out of their way to help you to find the information you need for follow-up care, including surgeons for procedures not offered on site, and are painstaking in discovering and proffering the best solution to any queries. I am exceedingly happy to have stumbled upon this dental team, and will continue to seek them out for all of my dental needs and off-site/surgical recommendations.

I went there with a partially broken molar and a lot of nervousness. I am extremely scared of dental work but Dr. Mears and his team was exception in calming me down and performing root canal right away. It is my first root canal bur it was much easier than any minor fillings I have had in the past. Would absolutely recommend this place!

I have gone to Perfect Teeth for the past three years. I became a patient when I lived in South Boulder and remain a patient even though I moved to the opposite end of town. I live in the north now, in a condo literally upstairs from two Dentist Offices. Perfect Teeth's team of people provide the best service with a constant stream of classic rock hits. That's why I still make the drive. I also appreciate the proactive scheduling and text message appointment reminders.

This is a wonderful dental office. All the staff is friendly and Dr. Mears was kind, gentle and took the time to listen to my concerns and to explain things to me.
