Dr. David Cartago has over 25 years of experience as a dentist. He graduated from Centro Escolar University Dental School in the Philippines and was a dental professor at the same university for a full decade. There, he was a tenured Professor in Dental Materials and Restorative Dentistry, was a Clinical Instructor, and also took lead in the universitys dental mission projects where him and his students travelled to different parts of the country to administer dental care to the poor. After his stint in the academic world, he continued his studies at the University of California in Los Angeles Dental School. There, he focused on both restorative dentistry and also completed a continuum on performing the more extensive root canal treatments. Dr. Cartago is known to have the most gentle touch (just read the dozens of his online reviews!) and prides himself on the painless dentistry that so many of his patients are happy to receive. However, his true passion is in the kitchen. He loves to cook cuisine from all parts of the world and couples that passion with world travel. At home, he enjoys hanging out with his two sons, Ryder and Taylor, and working on his fitness with his wife and business partner, Charmaine.
Dr. Osmolinski is a highly motivated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive didactic and clinical experience in the field of medicine and dentistry. He has earned his DDS from the University of Pittsburg, earning his post graduate degree at the University of Rochester in Oral Surgery, and completing his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable, and he comes to us after the completion of hundreds of difficult and challenging cases. He is a an international presenter on relevant matters including Implant Supported Restorations and has completed the aforementioned with superior esthetic results.Dr. Osmolinskis services include, sedation and general anesthesia, simple and complex extractions, socket preservation, soft and hard tissue grafting procedures, placement of dental implants, diagnosis and biopsy of potential precancerous lesions, surgical management of facial trauma and life-threatening infections, orthognathic surgery on patients in active orthodontic treatment and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders
Charmaine is often referred to as Dr. Cs right hand woman. They are life and business partners. Her previous business experience and extensive academic background shapes much of her current principles and protocols. At the practice, she is responsible for overseeing the companys production and retention statistics and revolves her business decisions around the current, relevant needs of the practices patients. She is also credited for leading the company to consistent and extraordinary growth in the past four years and continues to work on and achieve company growth & expansion, despite a less than ideal economy. It is a well known protocol in the company that if the issue is one that is clinical, to ask Dr. C. And if it is a business issue, speak with Charmaine.
Charmaine spent a portion of her undergraduate studies at the prestigious Oxford University. She went on to earn a double bachelors degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of San Francisco. After college, she earned a law degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Hastings School of Law. During that time, she was also a visiting student at Universite de Roma, Italy, where she completed courses in International Business Law. Her true passion, however, is being a mother and raising her two smart and vibrant little boys Ryder & Taylor and teaching them the values inherent in maximizing personal potential, holding compassion and showing gratitude - a combination, that she believes, leads to a balanced, healthy life.

I have Kaiser Medical coverage and I am thrilled that this provides me with Perfect Smiles. For Appointments: Always willing to coordinate best times. For personnel: Smiles all across the board and it is obvious there is a family atmosphere all enjoy working there. Cleaning is at the tops, I receive frequently compliments on my smiles. Always given instructions on what to look out for and was introduced to G-U-M for in between meal flossing.

I've been a patient at Perfect Smiles for several years. I've recommended them to many of my friends who now are patients. The staff is friendly and informative and very good at what they do. I was moved review again as I have been for my annual cleaning since the Covid lockdowns. Perfect Smiles is open and operating very safely. All dental staff are masked, shielded, and gowned. Chairs and all surfaces are sanitized between patients. I felt very safe during my appointment.

I love getting my teeth cleaned at Perfect Smiles. They are very thorough! They know I'm not a candidate for the high intensity water pick for scaling teeth so they have to do a little hand scaling which they are ok with. They are never in a rush and always spend time asking how everyone is at home. The team at Perfect Smiles has become more like family because we have been coming here for so many years. I'm due for a crown next week and because Dr David has the laser machine in his office I will leave the same day with my new tooth!! No waiting!!

Dr. Cartago and his staff are wonderful, professional, kind and provide excellent services. I took my mother to Dr. Cartago and she live in Petaluma. Having him as a dentist is definitely worth the drive! He is thorough, kind and very detail oriented. The office is peaceful, clean and well run and generally run on time. Dr. Cartago does not recommend un-necessary dental work. He is extremely ethical. I appreciate his kind and gentle manner. I highly recommend Dr. Cartago as one of the best dentist I ever come across!!!

I happened upon Perfect Smiles simply by chance: I was browsing dentists in my area on Yelp. I scheduled an appointment over the phone with Kristine. She was helpful and knowledgeable over the phone. At my first visit, she was so warm and friendly as she helped me figure out my insurance and fill out paperwork. The office is light and bright, with contemporary-modern decor. The sound of pop music came through the speakers. Dr. Cartago and his staff have a great attitude and I felt right at home there. Dr. Cartago even sang along to some of the songs lol (I was singing along in my head during my cleaning!) I thought it was such a great experience, and everything about it was so unintimidating: perfect for anyone who doesn't like the dentist! I'm taking my 4 year old in for his appointment with them, and I'm also having my husband come in as well. I would recommend Perfect Smiles to everyone.
