When you walk through our doors, we want you to feel like youre coming home. We dont just want to fix your teeth we want to get to know you on a personal level. Since Dr. Williams was young he fell in love with dentistry because he found it struck the perfect balance between his two passions: art and science.
With his sights set on dentistry from a young age, after graduating from St. Mary's High School in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Williams attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Biology. He was then admitted into Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine at the Glendale Arizona Campus and the journey to dental perfection began. He continues to excel as a dentist and still thinks of himself as a student of dentistry, as he still enjoys attending advanced learning courses in emerging fields of dentistry such as dental implants, oral surgery, and the latest cosmetic and restorative dentistry techniques and technology.
When asked why he became a dentist, Dr. Williams' response is simple. He developed a love for science and dentistry as a child and found dentistry as the perfect blend between the two disciplines. Fascinated and deeply in love with art, Dr. Williams still spends his free time drawing and painting whenever he has a chance.
A root canal is a procedure designed to treat a tooth that has been infected. Removing the damage reduces the chance of reinfection and can save your natural tooth. By removing the infected area of the tooth and restoring your nerve, blood vessels, and tissue, you can extend the life of your natural tooth. The process is rather simple and will be completed in one sitting. We will start by cleaning and disinfecting the pulp of your tooth and sealing it to further protect it from reinfection.
If you start to feel pain when you eat or drink, pain in your jaw bone, or if you notice a chip or crack in your tooth, you will want to visit us for a check-up just to make sure you do not need a root canal. If the pain you are experiencing is because of a needed root canal it should be treated right away. If left untreated, you could develop an abscess or even tooth loss.
