He graduated at the top of his class at the prestigious UABC University, and his desire to learn new things to offer his patients superior service led him to participate in an International Dental program for two years at LaSalle University to enhance his practice of dentistry, where he also graduated with honors.

He has spent most of his life in San Diego and grew up in Chula Vista. He loves Italian and Japanese food. In his free time he likes to work out at the gym or outdoors to maintain an optimal physical condition. He also really enjoys music concerts with his lovely wife and long walks with his 2 dogs, walking along the beaches of San Diego and enjoying the wonderful weather. He loves a good movie at the local theaters with his wife, make sure to say hi to him if run into him.
Dr.Falcon is a 2005 graduate of De La Salle University of Dental Medicine, and is Certified by the Dental Board of California as a DDS, she later studied a masters program in Orthodontics at LaSalle University.
As a Dentist she sees many patients that in the initial consult are shy and do not like to show their smile, most of the time there is something in their teeth or mouth that they do not like. So, I originally went to this place when I lived in San Diego based off of their reviews. I used to go to another dentist regular with no pain, and no cavities. I would say I had about 3 cavities in the past when I was younger. I stopped by this place, and they say I have 4 cavities, and they can fill them in right away. I allow them to fill them in, they do a great job. Then, I go back to my old dentist with no pain in my teeth, and they tell me I have no cavities, but I have several white fillings. I let them know I had several of them filled in by a dentist in San Diego. I also let them know that the San Diego dentist advised I needed braces as well. My dentist tells me he doesn't believe my teeth would be damaged as this previous dentist mentioned if I didn't get braces immediately, and that he would monitor them closely. I'm not a dentist, nor can I predict anything. I guarantee I wont have another cavity for another 2 years or more, thank you.

I hate the dentist, but perfect smile has changed my outlook of the dentist. I've had some cleaning and filling to get done all done well. I was most nervous for my wisdom teeth extraction due to a horrible experience in the past. But they eased my nerves. Explained everything they were gonna do. Recovery was a breeze. No pain, no infection. They are really awesome and care for your care. Best decision yet. Look forward to continuing care here.

Dr. Falcon and her wonderful staff has been the best dentist I have ever gone to. I just finished my braces treatment which has been so seamless for the last year and a half. Had an appointment one day for consultation with Dr. Garate to remove a wisdom tooth. Next day, Dr Garate removed the tooth. Before I new it, it was gone. No pain after the procedure. Very professional and courteous Assistants and staff. Excellent response and removal. I am going back for more work as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this Dentistry, it's Doctors, Assistant's and overall Staff.

I called Perfect Smiles minutes after I had just broken a tooth and reached them right before closing. I explained why I wanted to come in due to just breaking my tooth. Now I had very low expectations for my tooth in regards to it being saved, thinking that it would just have to be extracted and Dr. Garate and his team really saved the day!!! I walked in the door to warm smiles, everyone was very courteous and accommodating. They explained everything that was going to incur regarding ex-rays, treatment, costs down to alternative payment options if needed. I so appreciate their service. Dr. Garate was able to save my tooth and sent me out not having to look like a snaggle toothed sailor (lol)... I was so happy with the work that I could have kissed him but t my hubby wouldn't have liked that so I just thanked him. He and his assistant Marie were great! I left with a "replacement" until the final work is completed. I would most highly recommend this dental office for all your dental needs. The doctor has over 25 years of experience, an honest, great bedside manner and a phenomenal team!

Today, had the most awesome experience with process and procedures for two(2) implants that were painless and non discomfort from beginning to ending. The procedure was performed so efficiently and timely that I could not believe Dr. Garate had completed the implants procedure. I was anxious about the procedure and he did an excellent job explaining in details the process that put me at such ease and made the experience a pleasant and painless experience that has taken away the fear and conveying had about getting implants. Dr. Garate did such an AMAZING job on my teeth! I was elbowed in the mouth years ago and had to get a root canal done on one of my front teeth. The color of the tooth was opaque in comparison to the rest and it really stood out. My front teeth were also chipped and shaved down due to that so I was always insecure about my smile. Dr. Garate recommended that I should get crowns and from there on the whole process was pretty quick. He made sure that we got them exactly how I wanted them every step of the way. They look so natural and match the rest of my teeth so well! They also feel great too! I couldn't have asked for anything better honestly. Thank you to Dr. Garate and the team for making the whole process so easy!

I was so lucky to be answered on the phone by juana! I told her the problem I was in and was accommodated to the absolute best! What's even better is that I was called to get my appointment moved up because there was an opening and she though of me ! The whole facility inside is very efficient and clean.
