Dr. Nitish Mathew was born and raised in South Florida. He attended Florida International University and graduated with his Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2015. Shortly after, Dr. Mathew attended Lake Erie School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2020.
Dr. Mathew has a wide focus in General Dentistry with experience in treating children and adults of all ages. As a child, Dr. Mathew feared the dentist growing up and wanted to help others get rid of their fears when visiting the Dentist. Dr. Mathew is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He appreciates the importance of new technology in dentistry and in providing the optimal diagnosis and treatment of every patients dental needs.
Dr. Mathews goal is to offer the highest quality of dental care in a relaxed, comfortable environment and to help fearful patients feel at ease. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mathew enjoys hanging out with his wife, family, playing basketball, watching tv shows, and loves to eat!

Perfect Smile is the ultimate dentistry experience. From the office staff to Dr. Ackel, everyone is personable, kind, accommodating and professional. Dr. Ackel is always upbeat, humorous and goes out of his way to put his patients at ease. His expertise is second to none. I highly recommend asking for him as your dentist. He was recommended to me by a friend and choosing him as my dentist is one of the best decisions I have ever made. We have a great working relationship and I trust him with my dental health implicitly. The office offers every service imaginable. The cleanings are top notch. If you have an emergent issue, they make every effort to fit you in quickly. They offer a discount plan that makes dental care through Perfect Smile incredibly affordable, even without dental insurance. Their prices are very fair and competitive with the market. I am a loyal client who travels from out of state religiously for my dental work at this office. I can't imagine having my dental work done anywhere else!

I heard of this office through a friend and decided to check it out. Upon calling the lady on the phone was so nice and understanding of my situation and assured me that I'd have no issues when coming in. Not only was she right I was also able to get in the next business day. They are very understanding when it comes to dental anxiety and even the lady I spoke with on the phone came back during my appointment and introduced herself and made sure I was doing okay. Going back for all of the dental work I need. Happy to say I'm not so worried anymore. Really trusting office.

I thank God for Dr. Akel, I suffer of dentist phobia since I was young, after I got out of the military service got worse. Dr. Akel with patience taught me to trust him as a person and a dentist, is the only one that made me feel comfortable, did not laugh about my condition and wanted to work with me. His not just a professional dentist, he is an expert in his industry and a awesome human been. Know him 24 years always the same. His staff with his leadership are also the best.

Since moving to FL...have made Perfect Smile my choice for all general dental work and I'm completely happy with their service, staff and virtually every other aspect of their business profile. They're 100% professional and keep in mind...they aren't a dental group made up of numerous dentists that use the name Perfect Smile as in a franchise; with only two (2) office (I go to the one in Boynton Beach), it is privately owned and just a terrific practice!!!
