Dr. Bush was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She chose her profession at the age of 8. One of her earliest memories was playing Dentist with her siblings. Dr. Bush considers herself very lucky to be able to live out her dream.
After completing high school she went on to study Dentistry at La Pontificia Universidad Javeriana graduating with honors in 1987. In December of 1993 Dr. Bush relocated to the Tampa Bay area to continue her dental education at the University of Florida, graduating in 1998.She opened her own practice in 2005 and has been an active member of the community ever since. She is happily married to her prince charming for the last 24 years and has two beautiful children who she enjoys spending time with.
Dr. Ruben Mesia specializes in Periodontics, and provides specialty care to patients who require advanced treatment to maintain their teeth, gums and bone, or to those who wish replacement of missing teeth.
Prior his periodontal training, Dr. Mesia completed two years of residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center and received his Dental Degree at the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. Dr. Mesia is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He received a Master in Dental Science and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

Emma was raised in Avon Park, Florida. She started her dental career as a Pediatric Dental Assistant and joined our team in June of 2020.Emma is a true believer that smiling on a bad day can turn your day around and strives to make sure patients leave with a smile that makes them feel confident. With her past pediatric dental experience she strives to make our youngest patients experience as friendly and welcoming as possible. She knows that the foundation of good dental health is dental knowledge! She strives to help the patients understand their treatment plans and educating them on on daily dental hygiene.
Katlyn is a born and raised Tampa, Florida native. She is very passionate about the field of hygiene and has known that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field since she was a young girl. She loves to educate and motivate patients about their dental health. She prides herself in being able to give patients relatable examples about their oral health so that they can have a better and more simplistic understanding of how complex the human body can be.Katlyn Graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2017 with her A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently studying to continue her hygiene education by completing her Bachelors degree in May 2019 and is considering a Masters degree shortly after.In her spare time Katlyn enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Oscar. Her daughter is a competitive softball player that travels the state of Florida for several weekend tournaments per year. Katlyn is excited about the future of dental hygiene and looks forward to the many possibilities and doors her career may open in the future.
Originally from Michigan but last from and professionally educated in Connecticut, Denise joined the Perfect Smile Dental staff in 2014 with an expansive resume and 30+ years of experience as a dental hygienist.
Having a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and a Master of Science in Bio-Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, Denise's career has included work not only in traditional general and periodontal practices, but also portable service to skilled nursing and long term care residents. Her advanced degrees afforded her positions teaching in a career school, state college dental hygiene program, and in service staff lectures. She has represented at service and major brand product trade shows, and was the marketing/event planner and emcee for a local dental specialist in professional and community arenas.
Denise 's genuine enjoyment of people and concern for their well-beingis evident in her spirit and care for them, as she subscribes to the philosophy that 'Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him a life time.' And so it is with her patient education!
Jessica Raymond has been Certified Registered Dental Hygienist for three years. Her career in the dental industry began when she was 16 years old. Throughout high school and college she worked in a dental lab providing customer service and assisting in various departments within the lab. This is where her love of dentistry began. In 2011, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in dental hygiene at St. Petersburg College. She graduated in 2013 with her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene and in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene.
Jessicahas served on the 2015-2016 Colgate Oral Health Advisory Board. This opportunity allows her to provide her patients with the latest information and research on new technology and products from Colgate. She has a passion for educating and improving the oral health of every one of her patients based on evidence base care and individual need. She is also the current Vice-President of the Pasco-Hernando Dental Hygiene Association. This position has enabled her to share her knowledge with others and network with other hygienists and vendors in Pasco-Hernando counties.

Dr. Bush not only has a top-notch dental facility, she also cares for every patient. I just had a standard filling completed and Dr. Bush called to check on me. I have had surgery without follow-ups. Her staff are awesome too! I highly recommend them!

I have Met Life dental insurance, which gives 4 free cleanings/yr. I've used Dr. Bush for over a decade, but I'm done with the very high pressure sales tactics that I've experienced first hand the past 4 years. I actually got up out of the chair and walked out after they said they wouldn't simply clean my teeth, unless I purchased a $15 pre rinse, a $60 bottle of PrioMed and $60 (x4) individual tooth antibiotic....total out of pocket cost was at $640....mind you, no cavities, no complaints, just what Dr. Bush demanded I spend before my cleaning. I haven't been to her in 2 years because of past pressure sales then covid, but figured I'd try once again. It was a total mistake. That a customer can't simply get a teeth cleaning procedure without spending $640 is exactly what's wrong with medical profession these days. I can afford the $640, but still smart enough to know a scam when I see one....but, what about poorer people who aren't lucky enough?....how can they get basic cleanings like 20-30 years ago without spending $640....unethical, unmoral, high pressure sales tactics at this practice...Danger Will Robinson...Danger.

By far the most professional, articulate and patient-centered staff! You are greeted by the receptionist, Sarah immediately when arriving with a warm, gracious welcome. I have been. Patient of Dr. Bush for years now. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Bush is personable and does a great job and hygienists are great as well! I completely trust them and covid precautions are top notch.

I made an appointment here at the end of July. They gave me Aug. 12. I called a few days before my appointment to make sure they have checked with my insurance and everything was fine they said yes. On the day of the appointment, after I have already took a half day off work, they called and said sorry we don't support your insurance we just checked. Horrible service.

Was searching for years to find a good dentist in the area and was extremely lucky to find this one. Dr Bush and her entire staff at Perfect Smile have been a pleasure to go to. Very professional, fun, and relaxed atmosphere. They have even had to correct work done by other dentists. I couldnt be happier with this office. I didnt find a 'good' Dentist, I found a GREAT one. I've been seeing Dr. Bush for years- I still make the drive to Wesley Chapel from South Tampa because she and her staff are THAT GOOD. I've never had a bad experience or interaction, and I TRUST her as my dentist - I have never felt that she's tried to schedule unnecessary procedures, which was frequent with dentists I saw before I found her. Her hygienists always provide education and positive reinforcement, and they are attentive and try to make each visit as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Bush to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and knowledgeable dentist and staff in the Tampa Bay Area.

Very pleased!! Dr. Ana Maria Bush & her staff @ Perfect Smile Dental Studio was very supportive to me. I was made to feel very comfortable by the staff and the pleasant environment of the office. All my years going to various Dentist in different countries and states, getting my cleaning done @ Perfect Smile Dental has been one of my most comfortable experiences. Dr. Ana Maria Bush takes time to explain all the procedures for my treatments so that I can make an independent judgment. Any time i go into the office they make me feel comfortable and Dr Bush is an excellent dentist who makes you feel at ease no matter what it is she is doing...She explains every detail of what she plans on doing...I am thankful to find a dentist that doesnt make you dread going to the dentist...I would highly recommend her and her staff...I love her and will consider her for all work and procedures ...She is also awesome as a person and not just a dentist....Kudos!!

The staff is always warm and accommodating. They go above and beyond to work with my sometimes very fluid schedule. Dr. Bush is the best and very concerned with your comfort and quality of service for long procedures. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
