Dr. Kovalenko wanted to become a dentist from the time she was a child. She pursued her dream by coming to New York as a teenager. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Long Island College, Brooklyn Campus, and subsequently received her doctoral degree from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) where she graduated at the top five percent of her class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Dental Society.
Following her residency, Dr. Kovalenko continued her education while working in different dental settings as an associate and by taking extensive continuing education courses. These courses included advanced training in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, occlusion (Full Mouth Rehabilitation at NYUCD), implant surgery and bone grafting with a world renowned oral surgeon Dr. Arun Garg. During this time she developed a vision for her own practice, which she then created.
Feeling forever grateful to her alma mater, she returned to NYUCD as a clinical faculty member for some time. However, opening her private practice and being heavily involved with continuing dental education made her postpone teaching for the time being.
Serving Long Island residents since 2009, Dr. K, as her patients often call her, ensures that your individual needs are made a priority at each visit. She offers a full range of state-of-the-art dental services encompassing prevention, restorative, orthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Can't say enough good things about Perfect Smile Dental Arts. They are the most friendly, relaxing and most of all pain-free dental office I've ever been to. They don't overbook as many doctors tend to do so there's very minimal waiting time if any at all. Dr. Olga is great and I'm so impressed with all the up-to-date equipment she uses. I would definitely recommend Perfect Smiles to anyone.

I just started going Dr. Olga and she is a wonderful caring dentist she listens to you an your concern and don't try to rush. During my procedure I was in no pain whatsoever and she try to make me feel very comfortable during my procedure. She and her staff makes me feel very comfortable and at ease. I have phobia when it come down to going to the dentist because of childhood memories. But no more fair ( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER)

All i can say is Dr. k is very honest when it comes to giving you options as to what treatment is best for your teeth and gums. I had an infection in my tooth and other dentists wanted to remove and place an implant and charge me a fortune. They said i had no other option. I honestly felt hopeless but Dr. K said before removing my tooth, she wanted to try and save it by getting a root canal done. She did not want me loosing it. Other dentist never even mention the word root canal. All they wanted was big money. 1 year later i am here with a perfect smile and with healthy teeth. Dr K is not money hungry like other dentist. She cares about her patients. The entire staff is honest and friendly. I hope you give Dr. K and her office a visit and see for yourself how clean and how attentive her entire staff is.

I went to a lot of dentists & left them either because of their work was not up to par and or they talked to you like you were a 2 year old. Dr. Olga does beautiful work, treats client with respect & understanding. I'm so happy after going to 2 other dentists & leaving them after only a few months, I'm so happy I found Dr Olga. Diana, the office manager is so friendly, very helpful & always has a smile on her face. Dr Olga has a great staff too. If you need a dentist Dr Olga at Perfect Smile Dental Arts is the place to go.

Amazing. I have SEVERE anxiety especially with dental procedures. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 6 years & this office has the most amazing staff. From the front desk to the hygenists/dental assistants and Dr.Olga . Everything is explained to you and they make you feel welcomed & comfortable from start to finish & no work is conducted until your insurance has approved it. I cannot be any happier with my choice to go here.

I had to find a dentist that could help me get my smile back. My teeth needed alot of work done, and were in bad shape. Dr.Olga was able to fix my teeth ...something I thought would've been almost impossible. I'm so much happier with my smile. The condition of my teeth have improved tremendously. Dr. K and her team (Diana, Mahalia, Yan) are one of a kind. All procedures and visits are thoroughly explained. The plan of care is printed out with financial responsibilities so there are no surprises. The office is cleanly. Dr. K even called me to see how I was feeling after a procedure. I have been so pleased with the Dental care by Dr Olga and her team. Everyone there is so friendly and very professional. I have a very small mouth that is a challenge for any dentist to work in but Dr Olga did my work with ease. Her work has been excellent. Just had 2 old crowns removed and replaced. I'm very pleased with her work and by the way, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her Dental skills to all.

I will not go to another dentist again! I've had such issues with my teeth. It started in my late 30's and I'm 40 now. I've been going to so many dentists and none of them can peg the problem. As a courtesy to my sister in law, I went to perfect smile per her recommendation because I was in pain already. I really didn't think anything of it. Was expecting to be dissatisfied honestly. To my shocker....The dentist nailed it. She took a few minutes to look. Did a thorough check and literally hit the nail on the head. Found the problem. I went for the small procedure she suggested and I haven't felt pain since. I wanna cry each time I bite my food and it doesn't hurt. Thank you doctor! I'm not going anywhere!

I've been a patient of Dr Olga's for over a year she is gentle and caring. Like most I wasn't the biggest fan of the dentist but she's changed my mind. The office is clean and up to date with technology I recommend her to all my family & friends

I have struggled to find a dentist that I feel comfortable and happy with for a while. I am so happy to say going into this office is honestly always a great experience. Dr. Olga takes her time to explain the different procedures and genuinely makes you feel like she cares about the health of your teeth and you don't feel like just another random patient.

Facility is always pristine, staff always very nice. Dr Kovalenko takes her time not only doing the work but explaining to me what's going on. Honestly there is no other Dentist and team that I trust and will go back to on a regular basis.
