Dr. Rob Wynn began practicing dentistry about 30 years ago in the Peoria area. In 2012, Dr. Micah Roberts joined the practice, and the two formed Peoria Dental Care. Their motivation is seeing patients lives changed through comprehensive, esthetic, and mechanical dentistry. Whether making small or large improvements, our dentists desire to give patients their best smile and a functioning dentition that lasts.
Our dentists are Scholars of The Dawson Academy, members of The Pinhole Academy, members of the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals, and faculty for the OSF Hospital residency program. Dr. Wynn is also a member of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH).
Since graduating in 1989 from Southern Illinois University, Dr. Wynn has been in private practice and owner of his own dental practice. His passion has always been to offer complete dental care to all patients and to treat people with the same kindness and care he would expect for himself or his family. This focus has now evolved from single tooth dentistry to a philosophy of complete care and total wellness. In preparation of this style of comprehensive oral medicine and wellness care for patients, Dr. Wynn has attended hundreds of hours of both medical and dental continuing education courses, including:
Dr. Wynns dedication to learning is important to his care for patients because it allows him a greater knowledge to operate his practice with expert skills and better care for his patients overal health.
Dr. Roberts was raised in Peoria and is a proud graduate of Peoria Christian High School. He went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Bradley University, where he majored in Chemistry and minored in Biology and Religious Studies. Dr. Roberts earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University, where he graduated Cum Laude.
Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Matthew Liesen graduated from Marian Catholic High School. Dr. Liesen received his undergraduate degree from the University Illinois Urbana/Champaign and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Dr. Liesen was introduced the world of dentistry at a young age by his uncle, Dr. Steven Liesen DMD, and developed a passion for helping and educating patients on their dental and overall health.
Introducing Dr. Alexander Boerckel D.M.D. Dr. Boerckel is originally from Peoria and a Dunlap High School graduate. Dr. Alexander continued his education at Truman State University for his undergraduate degree and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at SIU. He served 3 years at Dyess Air Force base as a general dentist. Dr. Boerckel is proud to be back in his hometown to help give back to the community by providing excellent care and patient education.

To say our first visit to this place was amazing is an understatement. We came to Peoria Dental Care based on referrals from several like-minded friends. We had previously had some traumatic experiences with our children at a couple of pediatric dental offices which led us on the hunt for a dentist that was pro-patient and would give us informed consent on treatments for our children instead of just pushing whatever will fill their pockets. Peoria Dental Care is the complete opposite of that! My initial call to make the appointment was led by my apprehension due to our past experiences, but the person who answered the phone was a gem! She calmed all of our fears and made us feel confident in our decision to drive 1 hour and 15 minutes (one way) just for an exam. My daughter had exam with Dr. Micah and all I can say is this man is seems not only to be an amazing dentist, but a wonderful person. We have NEVER had a dentist or any other person in the medical profession take so much time and care with us in the past. Dr. Micah explained everything is such detail and gave us informed consent on all procedures that he recommended. He knew we drove quite far for the appointment, so he asked if I would like to take care of some of my daughters issues that day. So, we had the exam and got a tooth pulled and another tooth filled. :) We were also shown a detailed bill of how much everything was going to cost before the procedure was done. Other dentists we have experienced had not done this for us in such detail. I had not experience such great customer service and detail in the past and I'm still just so excited we had friends recommend Peoria Dental Care to us. Peoria Dental care is a professional, compassionate, and amazing dental office! We highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for a new dentist!

I can not say enough great things about Dr. Micah. I've been to many dentists, and never seemed to have the best of luck. I am self employed with no dental insurance, and in the past I have had work done that compromised my smile, or needed to be redone. When you pay for things you typically want it done right the first time. I can assure you this man is the dentist you want.

They have an amazing staff! Very knowledgable and went above and beyond for my 2yr. When she was a bit uncomfortable after her appointment they got us back in within the hour and rechecked things. No drilling on her cavity, only used a laser which is much quieter and painless. Also cost less than a few other dentist in the area.

So not a fan of going to the dental office. This group is out of network for my insurance plan but will pay the extra all day long for the superior care I receive. Dr Micah knows my fears and always takes the time to ensure I'm comfortable. The whole team is fabulous!!

Everyone at PDC is wonderful and I know that when I go in for a cleaning or something a little more that they are going to take great care of me and that means so much in today's society with customer service lacking in so many service industries!

I have been to several dentists here in Peoria and I had been to one dentist that was pretty good but unfortunately moved away and his replacement was not very good. I checked around and seen Peoria Dental Care had great reviews. I am glad I decided to check them out. Everyone was very polite and friendly, even at the front desk. The dentist was very well mannered, came in shook my hand, introduced himself, and was friendly and explained everything so well. I did not feel like I was rushed in/out at all. He took the time to explain the X-rays and also what he was doing during the exam. I appreciate knowing what is going on as it can be a little intimidating when they are using tools and grinding and scraping and they don't say anything like my last dentist did. This dentist even taught me something new which I have never had any dentist ever mention before about having an even bite. I was very impressed. I will be returning to have the rest of my dental work done there. Thank you Peoria Dental Care!!

Great care and concern for the patient, as well as listens to one's input as they make the best recommendation for the patient. Even though everyone has their specific taste for this kind of care, one could not go wrong in giving them a try if you're looking for a good provider in quality dental care. I have been a patient for over 5 yrs, and although being a little uncomfortable about dentists I have always walked away with a more than pleasant experience.

It doesn't seem possible, but I really love going to the dentist because of Nicki's caring, gentle cleanings and Dr. Wynn's ability to take the time explain things in terms I can understand!
