Dr. Williams is a third generation native Pensacolian. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida and his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He accepted a commission into the United States Navy, where he completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. He did his postgraduate work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he completed his periodontal training and received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. In 1995, Dr. Williams completed all requirements for board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He is a past president and member of the Escarosa Dental Society and recipient of the 2008-2009 Dentist of the Year award. Dr. Williams is also director of the Seattle Study Club (SSC) affiliated Greater Pensacola Study Club (GPSC) which is an organization that represents a committment to excellence in patient care and maintaining the highest level of knowledge in the field of Dentistry. The SSC network includes over 220 Study Clubs worldwide. Each club meets monthly to update members on the latest advances in technology and treatment. Doctors share new techniques and ways to better serve their patients. They also collaborate on difficult cases so that their patients are the beneficiaries of solutions from a team of knowledgeable clinicians in our community.

Everyone at Pensacola Periodontics are very helpful, kind, always smiling, and the whole office has an inviting welcoming air! I am a fearful person of dental work and Dr. Williams, Jennifer and Brandi have shown true care and compassion for my fears... I totally trust them... which is huge!! I am grateful for their taking care of me and my dental problems with care and concern for real!

Professional and personable, Dr Williams explained what I needed done and gave me choices, and explained the charges. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are most excellent and they have the latest technologies.

My problem was I had come from an endodontist that had broke my tooth! ( and hadn't informed me). I had just received an injection of prolia And apparently people that have to take this injection every 6 months including myself did not know That if you have a tooth pulled You could or most likely would develop a disease in your jaw called necrosis! Thank the good Lord that doctor Williams my paradontist was aware of this. Apparently a lot of people including my primary doctor nurses did not know it because they made me take my proley injection because the nurse said I had to have it and when I was supposed to have my tooth pulled that's when doctor Williams and his nurses explained to me what could happen . Unfortunately after that I had to wait to have my tooth extraction postponed for 6 months until 2 weeks prior to my lab work for my next Prolia injection. At the time of the extraction the nurse and doctor Williams Was very cognitive of the way I felt to make sure I was comfortable and obviously not in any pain, they also made sure that none of the tooth went to the back of my throat and nothing was left when he finished The extraction. I then had to have a bone put in for a graft of which doctor Williams told me when he was putting it in and then continue to suture me up I have had no problems And extremely happy with his personnel and Dr. Williams. I feel his prices were comparable to other Paradontist However I did not check out the pricing of any other doctor @ the time. Please keep in mind however as with any thing else you might Purchase whether it would be a paradontist or clothes you definitely get what you pay for. I don't know or would want to guess what other people would do, but when it comes to my teeth I would rather be safe than sorry! After all your teeth can and will bring on other medical problems if not fixed properly .
