POAMS in general is a very efficient organization, practically speaking. They get you in and out, whether it be a consultation or a procedure. The staff is very courteous and the overall experience is positive.

The worst experience at any health care office/provider in my lifetime. Came in for an x-ray after being told the x-ray machines were in working condition. Arrived for said appt. and the machines were down. They still charged for me for coming into the office... The front desk was rude, unprofessional as was their doctor and nursing staff. Billing admin is a disaster and the people are rude/terrible to deal with. No communication, lots of confusion. Giovanna with billing is rude, unprofessional and does not do her job. Terrible experience working through her to sort billing concerns. Terrible. She and she alone is the reason I will never go back to a PAOMS office and will tell friends/family the same. Apparently she has no supervisor either, as I was hung up on or transferred to a voicemail after requesting to speak with a supervisor each time. Hopefully she is held accountable.

I Called for an appointment for an extraction. The FIRST question I asked was did they take my insurance. I was so relieved when the young lady told me yes. That was on June 8th and the appointment wasn't until today June 24th. After I arrived and checked in they informed me that they didn't take my insurance but I could pay out of pocket. I could have paid out of pocket a long time ago. So now I'm still in pain because of their incompetence.

Great doctors & nurses. But their billing depatment is terrible. You can't even imagine how rude and unprofessional they are. They just refuse doing their job.

I waited an hour after they gave me forms to fill out. Also when I set up the appointment they said they would contact my dentist to send over my X-rays ( which they didn't) After an hour they called my name and asked if I checked in. I said yes I did about an hour ago and showed them the forms they gave me that I filled out online. After over an hour they said I would have to reschedule. I waited three weeks and took off time from work for this appointment. I did all that was asked from my end and they did nothing correct on their end. They might have great oral surgeons once you get passed the confusion from the front office staff but I will never know.

Very positive surgery experience but I had my teeth taken out in August and still haven't gotten their billing issues resolved. I called ahead prior to my surgery twice to make sure the front desk was clear that I was changing jobs and that only one insurance could be charged. They charged both anyway, kicking off months of debacle. I have had to call the office 8+ times, and on several of those occasions the people "helping" were rude and didn't believe me. On one occasion, my insurance provider directed me to have the office call them, and the office declined, forcing me to call my insurer and place a three-way call to force the office to hear what my insurer was instructing. I thought that call was the final step, as we ended it with clear directions to the office about what they had to do (turned out they had the wrong address for THEIR OWN office registered in my insurer's system, blocking several outbound insurance payments). The receptionist seemed bashful that it turned out to be the office's fault after she was so rude to me, so I really thought they'd fix it for me. That was weeks ago. Yet, today, I got another incorrect bill from them. I called, yet again, and was told that billing was unavailable and I could call back later so I "could at least get to leave a message." The customer service and logistics has been beyond upsetting and it negates the otherwise positive experience thanks to the professionalism and expertise of their doctors. Hopefully I can edit this review with more positive news if and when the office finally steps up to clear this.

I just want to genuinely leave my review after having my surgery done. From the staff to the Dr I give you guys 5 stars. I have anxiety going to dentist and the staff there made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I remember before i went under they had Destiny's Child "I'm a survivor " playing in background and I thought that was pretty dope lol. It helped me relax. I woke up from the surgery with no pain and I was surprised as hell. I hate pain, and I didn't even have any. The staff there really care and they're the best. Thank you so much because this surgery was well overdue. I'm glad it's over :) thank you Dr Wedell & staff

I was treated as a very cared for New Patient at Pennsylvania Oral Surgery in Plymouth Meeting. I was referred to them by Dr. Yuling Liang of Abbella Dental Care in North Wales to have #5 tooth extracted. I was given Antibiotics prior to the Surgery and returned at 1pm for Dr. David Wendell was very nice and the procedure went quick and I heard him say I was a good patient. I would highly recommend Your practice to others.

Had my wisdom teeth removed. The surgeon was nice, friendly, and very helpful with answering any questions. The rest of the staff was very hit or miss. Over the 3 appointments and multiple phone calls I either dealt with someone courteous and helpful or someone who seemed overworked and trying to ignore me so they could get back to what they were doing. Please also keep in mind this facility will not give you your teeth back. If you don't mind dealing with the staff I would recommend this location solely due to their surgeon.

Highly recommended PAOMS - Plymouth Meeting. My appointment was a great experience, from check-in at the front desk, throughout my procedure and the escort to our car. The office staff and surgical team were all friendly, prompt and professional. All aspects of my procedure were explained in detail. My visit and procedure was truly a stress free experience!

The experience I had at this practice from the start has been an absolute NIGHTMARE ! While the surgeon seemed friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk employees are clueless and careless as can be. They ignore patients and chat amongst themselves instead of assisting. I was referred by my orthodontist to get my wisdom teeth removed here in January 2020 and I have billing issues that are STILL not resolved as we approach 2022. Before I had my procedure I asked 3 times (via phone and in person) if it was completely covered by insurance beyond the few hundred dollars I paid the day of the procedure. They assured me that it would be covered and made no mention of additional costs. Well this was not the case at all and they sent the unpaid portion of my bill to COLLECTIONS ! I had no knowledge that there was even a balance because I moved and they did not call and say I had a balance. The only reason I even noticed my bill was sent to collections was because my credit card company alerted me that my score went down over 200 points! So of course I call immediately and it took DAYS and several people for them to even figure out what I was talking about because they had me in the system under the wrong birthday. I called my insurance company and it WAS NOT submitted correctly by PA Oral! It was resubmitted and within days they paid and the balance was removed from collections. Just recently however I was sent another bill with no explanation and this nightmare continues !!! AVOID this place at all cost. The front desk and billing staff are incompetence personified!
