A board-certified dental implant surgeon and periodontist, Philip L. Fava II, DMD, MDSc is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Fava has a passion for patient-centered and state-of-the-art periodontal and implant therapy that is evident in all that he does. Dr. Fava specializes in esthetic implant placement, oral plastic surgery, and laser-assisted LANAP and LAPIP gum disease treatment. He is also one of a handful of area periodontal specialists to be certified in the minimally invasive Chao Pinhole treatment for gum rejuvenation, for which Dr. Fava personally trained with Dr. John Chao.

Dr. Fava earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in Philadelphia from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (UPenn) and completed his specialty residency in Periodontics and Masters in Dental Science (MDSc) at the University of Connecticut (UConn). He serves as a peer instructor in the pre-doctoral program at UPenn and has contributed his talents as clinical instructor at UConn, bringing an enthusiasm for learning to each person he meets.

Dr. Fava is a Fellow of the prestigious International Team for Implantology (ITI) and a member of the American Dental Association. In 2015, he was elected President of the Eastern Dental Society, the regions largest and oldest dental society.

Dr. Robert A. Levine is an internationally acclaimed dental implant surgeon and board-certified periodontist as well as one of the pioneers of the immediate load (SameDay Smile) revolution in dental implants. He founded the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics in Philadelphia in 1981. He is presently a Clinical Professor in Post-Graduate Periodontics and Dental Implantology at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry,a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill, and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He is Chairman Emeritus, Division of Periodontics, at Albert Einstein Medical Center (1984-2003).

Dr. Levine is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Fellow of the College of Physicians in Philadelphia (FCPP), President and Fellow of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons (FISPPS), and a Fellow and a Board of Director of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) of Basel, Switzerland and was one of 100 representatives from around the world invited to participate in the ITI 4th Consensus Conference (Bern, Switzerland, 2013), the ITI 5th Consensus Conference (Stuttgart, Germany, 2008), the 6th ITI Conference (Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2018) and the 7th ITI Consensus Conferences in Lisbon (2023) to establish treatment protocols for implant dentistry worldwide.

He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally, serves on the editorial boards of numerous international scientific dental journals and has authored close to 90 articles and five book chapters on periodontics, periodontal and regenerative surgical procedures, oral plastic surgery, dental implants and LANAP periodontal therapy.

He is Founder and Co-Director of the Philadelphia Tri-State ITI Study Club. Additionally, Dr. Levine shares his knowledge and 37 years of clinical experience with periodontal, prosthodontic and general practice residencies throughout the United States and abroad as a visiting professor and mentor.

Dr. Levine presently leads a clinical research team from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and Dr. Mauricio Araujo from University of Maringa, Brazil on a series of retrospective studies on immediate implant placement in the maxillary central incisor region from cases treated in private practice with a series of clinical research studies which have been published in high impact dental implant journals that have given the dentist a check-list in the avoidance of dental implant complications which has been coined in the dental literature, The 10 Keys Concept.

Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, board certified dental implant surgeon and periodontist Dr. Eric Schoenebeck practices at the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics Ambler location. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics, Dr. Eric, as he is often called, believes that good communication, coordination and teamwork between patients, our practice and referring doctors can ensure the very best treatment outcomes.

Dr. Schoenebeck specializes in advanced dental implant procedures, gum and bone grafting techniques and regenerative periodontal disease treatments. He, along with his colleagues Drs. Philip L. Fava II and Robert A. Levine at the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics, brings cutting edge technology to patients including teeth in one day concepts and high-end dental implant treatments to replace one or more missing teeth.

Dr. Schoenebeck earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Penn State University and graduated dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his periodontics residency and earned a Master of Science at the University of Florida.

Before recently retiring from the United States Navy, during which time he practiced periodontics, he served 23 years of combined active and reserve duty, stationed at bases in New Jersey, North Carolina, California, Florida and Keflavik, Iceland.

Dr. Schoenebeck is married with three very active children and two crazy dogs and is a self-described avid Nittany Lion, (Florida) Gator and Philadelphia sports teams fan. When not perfecting his patients smiles and improving their oral health, he also finds time for swimming, hiking, camping, cooking, traveling and supporting his childrens sports teams.
