Peninsula Smiles is a modern, state-of-the-art practice offering Menlo Park area patients a full-range of general and cosmetic dental services, from routine check-ups to complete smile makeovers. Our doctors practice conservative, proactive dentistry utilizing the latest in dental technology. Your comfort is always a primary concern.
He came to Palo Alto in 1998 after spending two years splitting his time between teaching at UCSF and practicing part time in San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Being committed to professional excellence they both dedicate numerous hours to continuing education, especially in the areas of advanced restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Drs. Nabeta and Salcedo have received training at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Bay Area Aesthetic Masters and are members of three local study groups whose focus are in Invisalign, implant dentistry as well as advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Salcedo grew up in San Diego, receiving her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of California at San Diego. Like Dr. Nabeta, she also graduated from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry. After receiving her D.D.S., she completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UCSF. She values time with her family and enjoys cooking.

Marilyn was a patient of ours for many years before she decided she wanted to be a part of our team. Her kind and caring personality makes her the heart of the office. A Bay Area native from Redwood City, who enjoys being outdoors, caring for animals, and spending time with her family.
Rozz is an exceptional hygienist and makes sure her patients feel at ease and comfortable during their visits. She has worked with us for over 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in dental hygiene.
Tess is originally from Northern Maine and has lived in the Bay Area for most of her adult life. She became a hygienist because she enjoys meeting new people and wants to share her knowledge with her patients. We are fortunate to have such a caring and capable hygienist on our team.

As usual, Dr. Salcido and the staff and assistants did a wonderful job replacing a crown for me. In the current Covid situation, they have implemented many safety precautions, from a controlled check-in to extra suction during procedures. I felt very safe during my visit.

Everyone at Peninsula Smiles does an amazing job of keeping things clean, well-ventilated, and safe. I think it's great that they're up and running and it felt good to do something as mundane and normal as getting my teeth cleaned. Thank you!!

They are an awesome team. I've been going here for years and was referred by my friend that used to work at their old office. They are very professional, informative and genuine. During covid-19 they have taken the initiative to send out an email on active steps the office is doing. They sent follow up email and calls on new protocols. I appreciate the time and effort they take to keep the community safe as well as informing patients new procedures. Their staff is wonderful.

This was my first public appointment since the shelter in place. The staff was professional and organized in managing the patient flow and the services rendered. I was completely comfortable with my experience today. It was flawless, as usual.

Tremendous experience having a dental hygienist appointment during COVID lockdown. Spotlessly clean, all possible safety precautions taken. I was nervous going in, but was so glad I did. Great job Peninsula Smiles.

Had my regular 6 month's appointment at Peninsula Smiles today. As usual, it was just such a pleasant visit! Dr. Selcedo was so efficient and gentle, gave me great suggestions to care for my teeth! Kristin Washburn, did a fantastic cleaning job on my teeth! Great to see Dr. Scott Nabeta, who also had taken care of me! No cavities!
